read the whole thing. I said .500 since the 0-5 start. That means even tho we're 5 games under .500, we're 18-18 since the terrible start and Yao going out.

    Thats how.

Agree. We are so close in every game. I believe we have the talent with this group. I may be the only one, but crossing fingers we keep this group.
I have not warmed to/been impressed with Twill - he is the only player I would not mind losing.

is that something to be proud of? Do you want the Rockets to be a 41-41 team this year and remain stuck in mediocrity zone?

What's wrong with 41-41 as opposed to 30-52?

Oh wait - attempting to be in contention is terrible because the team will never get anywhere, right?

How did this way of thinking come to dominate Clutchfans?

But that's the thing, we're no where even close to contention!

No player outside of a tier one star player(ex;Melo, Paul), will get us into contention.

I'm sorry to be such a downer, and I'm sorry if you think we're better than what we really are. But that false sense of superiority will get us stuck into mediocrity. Again I don't mean to rain on the parade, but this team is just fundamentally flawed. This team need's to rebuild and will be forced to rebuild at one point or another...

To answer your question; the problem with those records is draft positioning. Does extra wins can be the difference in drafting a high level prospect like Terrence Jones or Enes Kanter to drafting a lesser talent like Mason Plumlee or John Henson ...
