I think he got his goggles knocked off sometime in the 2nd half, and it irritated his eye. It looked nearly closed when I saw him cheering from the bench. Nothing serious.

well they did a fine job on calling the game and were very unbiased while giving props to our players like Battier and Landry overall they provided a quality commentary

they knew what they were talking about

when talking about rockets teamwork, they even said something like "if u dont like this rockets team, u dont like basketball"

    Interesting stat line from Monta:

9/27 for a player who is usually highly efficient

    9 turnovers

    7 blocks against

    Must be that Rockets defense.

Lowry just kicks it into another level when we are down.. he starts foaming at the mouth.. and starts running into the lane and pushing it even faster up the court.. that ish is contagious. I really think he was the catalyst for this comeback..

Ellis did his job to make sure the Warrior lose tonight.

Morrow was hot, Curry was nifty and hitting and yet Ellis kept jacking up and missing chippies at the end.

Thanks for the info, I was curious tho.

Nothing serious would be ideal because we need his versatile magic moves on the court to rip through the paint and kick out the ball for the shooters outside.

so i'm guessing shane on monta was something they worked on for a while, for shane to block monta specifically so many times he had to watch a lot of tape on him...looking at his moves, tendencies, etc..

I actually felt bad for Coach Nelson when Watson fouled Brooks... for about 5 seconds. Thank goodness for good old Rockets ball and the Warriors back to back failures to close out the game for us.

They aren't fully sure how healthy Scola is, with Landry becoming our best sixth man since the Championship era, they can let Scola rest for the end of the game. Also, the Warriors went super small for speed and that allowed Landry to shine against the horrible flopping of Corey Magguite.

Glad the refs didn't fall for it that much, although I am surprised when they gave him that call on Brooks of all people. Brother threw himself like three feet from light contact from one of the smallest players in the game.

And I have to admit, Lowry seemed to have a spring in his shoes tonight, I don't remember seeing him jump as high as he did today. That block he had on the fast break lay up was sick, even if it did wind back up in the hands of the Warriors.

Welcome back Mr. Battier. He has finally come out and showed why he is a big favorite among NBA coaches. Great game for everybody.
