Good win, nice to see Lee have two solid games consecutively, hopefully it's the turnaround we have been waiting to see from him. Chuck is from the bay area so that's probably why he went off today.
Anybody else catch Drexler's joke at tipoff. Bill- "Kyle said he would trade all those assists for a W. Clyde- "And we're not talking about presidents." LOL
RA held a meeting with lee, bud, and hill prior to the suns game and told each of them to expect more PT and therefore more responsibility. Technically the suns game should have been the game where they reacted to the meetings and pulled out a win, but i guess it didnt work out that way. Not sure why he'd turn around and give Hill just 4 mins though...i guess it makes sense matchup wise, but it's bad timing for hill after hearing earlier in the week that he'd have a bigger role on the team. They're really screwing with his consistency by treating him inconsistently.
Yeah I caught that! Did you catch when he was praising some left handed warrior player for making a left handed layup, saying that he was doing a good job using the left hand?
we were 39 of 51 from the free throw line, where golden state was 12 of 18. Chuck and Battier score over ten points and we only win by 10. Our D was better but I was so happy when Martin got pulled in the 4th and they put Shane back in. GS was starting to have layup drills there for a while. the lineup was odd, Lee, Scola, Budinger, Battier and Lowry, but it matched up ok against what GS had out there.
My game ball goes to the SF position. General Shane and Cadet Chase finally showing a glimpse of what they can contribute. Line score: 22 pts. 9 rebs. 2 asts. 4 blks. 1 stl. All on 50% from the field (FTs taken into account) and 40% from downtown. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Additional Line score: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=AiLA5Xy0gX8uUnVF8QLndN.8vLYF?gid=2010112410 44% shooting (8/18) 5 turnovers vs 2 assists 1 offensive rebound 50% on free throws OK. They played better, especially Budinger. But far short of anything amazing.
Are you kidding me? Ellis and Curry are the biggest ballhogs in the NBA. They are talented players but they can't play in team. You can see yesterday that they shot the Warriors out of the game. And their coach ain't really "smart" neither. He always play them 40+ minutes even on back to backs, even when Curry was still hurt. Finally, neither of them play defense. They ain't going anywhere.
Funny stat I just found .. in 14 games, Chuck already had made 4 more free throws than he made in 2008 and 2009 seasons combined.
If all you want to do is focus on the negative, then by all means, but I'm more of an optimist, Mr. Debbie Downer.
Did anyone take my advice? http://sports.bodog.com/sports-betting/nba-basketball.jsp If you just took the money line bet, you would have won $155 for every $100 you put down. You would have won more if you put that money on the spread.
