It's not about talent. It's about HEART. You know the difference between Kobe and T-Mac.

Problem on defense is a combination of a lack of practice time(ie not knowing rotations), and battier being much slower right now. Shane is not able to be the glue on defense like he has the past few seasons, and that exposes other players shortcomings.

Actually I never referenced McLady, McGrady, TMac or MeMac prior to your post and in case you have forgoten your initial b****ing and whinning allow me to help you with your memory....
...or is it only whinning when someone else does it?

McLady is my nickname for him. I think he is fragil both mentally and physically. Do I think he is a bad person? No. Do I wish bad things on him? No Do I personally dislike him? No. Do I wish he was on a team other than the Rockets? Yes I do. Fan is short for Fanatic and yes I am a Fanatic about the Rockets. When I see a player that I don't want on the team I will voice my oppinion and I might even give him a nick name like McLady.

You mean like you are doing right now? We both know you would never get in my face. You know it and I know it. Chances are I would not get in yours either or Tracy's or anyone else. That certainly does not mean I will not voice my oppinion on a fan board.

I love it when people make generalized assumptions about other people they have never met. You could be right or you could be wrong...but only I know the answer. ;)

Mr. insight calling out one of the "better" posters on the board and...GASP using none other than "assumptions" to do it!

    Seriously, that post was lame.
When two people are going at it, don't unnecessarily involve yourself. More often than not, it makes you look bad..

I wasn't comparing Kobe and T-Mac. I was just saying that even an 80-90% healthy McGrady helps this team. Also, I don't think any of us know what kind of "heart" T-Mac has to be honest. It's real easy to criticize someone when you never have walked a day in his or her shoes.

Yeah, I feel exactly the same. Take whatever shots if they do fall. But you have to be smart enough to try some other ways when they don't fall. I'm glad Ronr Ron adjusted. At the early beginning of the game, he took the ball to the paint, was swarmed and they he kicked out the ball to an open Scola. Scola got an easy basket and Ron Ron had an assist. That's what I want see more from Ron Ron. Trust your teammates and play smart.

Oh sir, I agree with you.

This team never ran a "motion" offense to start out with.
What I was referring to was ball movement, and jumbled my words around a bit.
Even when Yao posts up, he still looks to pass out, and set up teammates. He only shoots if it is a "good" high percentage shot. Artest on the other hand takes a number of "bad" shots that (a lot of the time) don't really help the team score on that posession

i am happy for the win, but not satisfied. too many one-on-one's for my taste.

highlights for the game are 2:
    landry's 3
randolph's goaltending on yao's shot (in a silly way)

    Good points that...

I am really concerned about Battier this season. that guy is the most important piece on defense along with Yao's "presence" in the middle.. I don't know whether his ankle is bothering him too much ... but lets hope he gets back to old ways..

It looked good. For me, defense is B+ and ball movement A-.

Anyway, a win will cover a lot of defencies.

He needs Tmac to draw in the defense and set him up for those wide open 3s.

That I can agree with, and sorry if I was too harsh in my word choice. Plus, tonight and wednesday Ron has moved the ball well when in the game. Also, i'd say he only took a few wild shots. Most of his points were on aggressive drives or open threes.

It is not a "Motion" offense it is a "Read and react" offense.

Landry is working on his 3 game..

if he pulls it off.. that would be fantabulous. just imagine the spacing we would get when he plays an all round game.. Okur thrives on his 3 ball because not many centers come out to defend..

i don't know how many PFs can successfully defend landry if he develops the 3 ball ..

Anyone: Was Brent Barry suited up? Why didn't he play? And what's Luther's status?

I mean the poster he was complaining.

After a good game by AB, Landry and Ron Ron, that guys declared the BIG THREE should change to AB, Landry and Ron Ron, despited the fact that Yao also had a solid game.

Barry was suited up, and i'm guessing he didn't get in because of the pace the warriors like to play.
