We should feel lucky. The ref is not as bad as Jazz-Pistons ref yesterday.
Besides, Rockets had good lead at the 3rd quarter but they gave it away.
For a moment I though Francis got a chance to play tonight.

No more 4th quarter melt down, pleaseeee.

Fixed, Al is a good offensive player, but the $hit he got away with was unbelievable.

I think so too...He should start and finish the game. He plays so well with Mcgrady on the floor.

I'll take the edit. It's true, the refs almost won the game.

it is what it is. we rarely have the refs in our favor so i think it's time that we put the refs aside.

overall, we played great. offensively, we put up beautiful stats and highly efficient. defensively, they got the calls and made the game close than it would be. but we played well overall.

we had the gaem won by the 2nd quarter. i never felt we were going to lose by the 2nd quarter.

and once again, artest has mastered the off the bench guy. he's our manu. see his fg% since he has come off the bench.

It was an ugly win but I will take it any time than a beautiful loss.

Yao played an overall poor game. Although the officials were a factor but Yao did not play well. Jefferson always gives Yao trouble as I remember. He is kind of like Boozer, though their games are quite different. They are too quick for Yao to cover and too big for Chuck. At the defensive end, Jefferson seemed to be well prepared, too, and he was lucky to have the officials on his side.

But I would praise the big fella for not shying away in the 4th. In the past, with three quarters of subpar performance, he would absolutely defer to TMac in the 4th, but he took several shots without any hesitation tonight. That's right, Yao! That was really some heart.

All being said, RA need to watch the tapes and figure out how to stop guys like Jefferson. Boozer in the Jazz, West in the Hornets can make trouble for the rockets coming playoff time.

I guess that is called superstar treatment.

I watched the Kobe travelled in front of the ref tonight. And they just IGNORE it. That is also called superstar treatment.

relax, there were games this past 2 weeks where yao got 15 and 19 fts. he gets his calls most of the time.

tonight wasn't one of them. as long as he remains aggressive, he'll get calls. he's averaging 8 fts this year in 33 minutes of play.

Man, the Timberwolves are really bad. They had no offense outside of Jefferson, and their defense for the first three quarters was terrible.

Major props to Luther Head for his play tonight. Without him, I'm not sure the Rockets would have had enough to win this.

Actually we shouldn't be too worried about Boozer. For some reason Hayes and Scola could hold him down. I know Hayes wasn't doing such a great job on Jefferson (although not exactly a bad job), but Hayes tend to shut down pure PFs, and quite a few centers.

I think Hayes was having a defensive off-night, so I'm not too worried. He will keep good big men in check.

In the last 5 games since Mcgrady back from injury, we are averaging 25.3 assists per game  and went 4-1. Good team ball good offense but only down side our defense seems missing....
