Jackson likes to pull that Tim the tool man Taylor "Huuuh?"-look. Whenever the Lakers are in trouble it appears and it would get him murdered on this board if he were the Rockets coach. Especially since his coaching style is similiar to Adelman's.
Its games like these that makes me glad I invested in NBA League pass. Great 4th quarter by Battier and the team. The team kept fighting despite some really bogus calls by the refs. To me Jordan Hill was incredible. He really shut down Gasol. He got physical with him, got into his head, and kept him off the boards. These kind of games that give a young player a lot of confidence.
My "that was a tough way to lose, but I still liked what I saw" post turned into a "****ing A; we beat those bastards" post. Finally, we play like we're supposed to/capable of. I watched this one alone, so I acted like a complete ass..
sell high!!! time to trade battier, before he goes off a horrible streak again. but anyways, lets go rox. thank you martin for playing D. thank you battier for making shots.
What a win, really liked seeing the fans and bench so into it. Also liked Jhill in for 4th he was solid. And SHAAAANNNEEE nice. Hope it carries over
For the 2nd time in 3 games the lesson of the day is if that if Battier could score 15 ppg efficiently and be a factor on offense, the Rockets usually win. Hmm, where can a get a player who can score like that and still play good defense...
Adelman was brilliant. He put Martin on Bryant the whole night, and even though Kobe was playing well, he kept Martin on him so that Battier didn't have to work so hard all game long. Then, with 4 minutes left in the game, he unleashed the Batman on Bryant and boy did it work in our favor. Hell of a 4th quarter by Shane, and I'm so freaking glad to see Adelman stick with Hill in the final minutes because his defense on Gasol was crucial.
Rofl i know right. I hope this turns on a lightbulb for the team. Defense/hustle is going to win us games.
