Matt Barnes is such a thug and piece of trash. He should have had a technical called for hitting Bud in the head like that. Guarantee one of our guys would've been slapped with a T for doing that to a Laker.
More disappointing to me was Bud's reaction or lack of it. Somebody hits you in the head/face, and you just walk away. NOT!
The entire idea of REAL FANS is pretty much idiotic when the entire point of the NBA is to be user friendly most NBA fans are pretty much casual compared to most football, baseball or college teams anyways. But WTF are you and all the other nannies getting so mad at? But the man can't have his own stupid definition over a topic that's pretty much fluff to begin with? Calling it ignorant is ignorant. I know it's AWESOME feeling morally superior about **** that doesn't matter on the Internet but everyone knows what he was talking about. You should support your home team. If you wear the opposing team jersey at the game you're going to take some flack and dudes around you are going to be pissed.
You might want to change that to "Phil Jackson coached Championship" team. They had lost 4 in a row in those non championship years. Kobe was criticized for shooting too much.
It's possible. I am a Rockets fan and I live in Arizona/Utah. I have a Landry jersey... not a Kobe or LeBron jersey. There's the difference. Most cars run on gasoline... just because a few don't won't stop me from saying "cars run on gasoline." On the road lakers fans are fake losers.
I have no idea what you're going on about but most reasonable people would agree that a "real fan" is someone who can do things like name bench players, watch X% of their teams games, and have a working knowledge of their team's history. Go try to have a basketball discussion with one of those Kobe jersey'd fans and see how much you can get them to talk about someone besides Kobe/Gasol/LeBron.
yo i was just reading this article about phil jackson's response on losing to the rockets. he thinks the rockets 2 titles were tainted because they didn't play michael jordan. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...t=AtYJUKelh77yPMAKilWtkVO8vLYF?urn=nba-291327 heres the article
I'm in SoCal too and I've noticed this too. Of course, I also noticed it in Boston when people would come from other places and the next thing you knew they're wearing Red Sox hats.
You can hear the gasp and excitement of fans when Kobe made a simple basic jump shot. It was the greatest thing ever to them. Is it me, or do Hispanic girls really like Kobe? It probably has to do something with his wife being Hispanic. I'm going hunting for Mexican girls this weekend.
