Battier was great, but he is rather inconsistent now. I do not think he is capable of delivering 18 points a night, do you? Check some of Battier's stats for some of the games we lost. Iggy or someone of his caliber is needed.

Barnes worked bud tonight. I personally dont think bud can play the 3. I think he's better as a 2 man because of the strength issues. He has quickness and explosion issues also, but play sg will hide most of that.

Man, we may be starting to do something special, at least I hope so. After beating teams like Lakers we sure have to be more confident going forward.

    Great game, contragulations. Go ROCKETS!

Thank you rockets and rockets fans in the building.

It is a tough year, but players' effort have rarely been questioned.

It feels good to see such a win, keep the spirit up!

Yes we have a winner. martin can play perimeter defense. He is adequate. What he can't do is play low post defense. If his man is strong enough (almost all are) to back him down he will lose that match almost every time. People say he gets beat every time but that is not true but he does get beat. But so does everyone against quicker athletes. Yes even Battier gets beat alot. But Battier does it deliberately. Did you see him keep holding his ears. It was him telling the team which way does he force Kobe. he is asking where is the help. he knows he needs help so he forces Kobe to the help defense. Battier is not so talented defensively as he is smart. Martin is getting Smarter too.

Dude, Reggie Miller (Martin's scouting comparison) couldn't have the game Battier had at both ends of the court. Being 6'7 180 is a far cry from being 6'8 230. Show me a game that Reggie much less Martin could defend physically while sinking 3s at the other end? None...

eh... just saying, but u wanna be careful saying something like that about Reggie Miller for crissakes. Maybe no one will take the time to call you on it and prove it systematically... But you're talking about Reggie Miller!

Battier's gonna get the credit for this one- and rightfully so that he should- but I truly believe that Hill's defense on Pau was huge in the 4th.

I hope this becomes a trend as the season goes along- RA beginning to use Hill more often on big men. I love Hayes' game as much as the next guy, but he's always going to be a mismatch when facing players like Pau, Duncan, Blatche, or anyone else 6'10'' or up. Hill is a better defensive matchup against them, and although he was missing his shots in the 4th, I dont think he took any ill advised shots, and those are shots that, with time, he'll start making soon enough.

Great team victory, amazing finish by Battier.

What say you, DD? By your same logic, now that we DID win, would you openly admit that we are better with lowry as the starter?

For the record, I think AB is a better player and Rox definitely miss him. But your logic is just fxxxed up. Your blind love for AB is mind boggling...

It would help if you hadn't put smileys in almost all your posts, right?

Point is, you keep instigating other posters and you wonder why people come at you in bunches...

Yeah, I guess.....I think some are more serious than others though.....

The personal insults are what is bothersome....I rarely call people dumb or stupid or ignorant etc..etc..etc....unless of course someone else does it first...it is what it is.....I guess.
