What a nail biter! I am not a fan of the Iso offense of tracy trying to go one on one and stagnating our offense. The ending of the 4th was ridiculous, our role players can run Rick's system better. Rafer needs to quit thinking he can be a hero and hit a game winning shot, because that is not what he is there for. Other than that I think Rafer had a great game.

Does anyone know where I can see the interview Artest had with Matt Bullard after the game?

Yes,that's very important especially with McGrady needing time to get settled.

Well I think you misunderstood me. Let me rephrase myself. I rather have tracy drive to the basket setting others up than him playing iso and taking a turn around jumper from 20 foot away.

Wafer is still the only one that consistently attacks the basket though, and thats what you need at the end of games, not tmac shooting contested jumpers.

Given that he claimed he's back to the ol' self the other day,he didn't impress me with his performance, maybe I just expected too much out of him and he failed me again.15/4/4 was a pretty neat stats for me considering him coming out of the injury and haven't played since Jan 9.

Finshing at the rim is way more reliable than pulling up from the filed to shoot the contested jumpers. But T-Mac seemed like he's not willing to attack the rim unless the game is on the line, jumpers are his friends and layups are not.I was expecting him of dunking on somebody, but he just didn't do that.

I can't believe no one is talking about Scola. The dude was a total stud tonight.

In going with my TMac could be our PG thread I agree. I would love to see TMac be more a 15 pts 8-10 assists player than a 20 pts 6 assists. With this team we don't really need him to score 20 a game. Artest, Yao, Scola, Rafer, Landry and Wafer can all score 10+ points a game. If TMac would create for them and only shoot when he's open or got the lane we would be great. I think that is what is our best chance. Make TMac become more of a passer.

If Yao averages 20, Artest 15, Wafer 12, Scola 12, Landry 10 and TMac 15 that's 84 points already. That still leaves us with Battier, Brooks, Barry and God forbid Hayes score from time to time. We could easily become a 100+ point a night team without having to push the ball like the old Phoenix. With Artest, Battier and Yao we would still have a good defense.

    WOW,

The dude was playing team ball and deffered to his teamates alot. He isoed towards the end of the game and that is what your superstar is supposed to do. Perhaps you missed the pivotal late game layup. You don't get to have it both ways. Tracy's play was very promising, he will not put up 30/10/10 playing team ball.

    Regardless, great game tonight.

I just want everyone on our team to know their roles fully and what they are capable of doing, so if we do meet the lakers/hornets/spurs in the playoffs, we have no excuses.

Heres what I mean by role:

Barry and Shane knows their role really well which is to take open 3s and help out all the other little stuff.

Rafer obviously doesnt know his role because he always try to be a hero. (I.E. Lakers game when he drive to the basket in the final seconds with a sky high floater and bricked it and when he missed two free throws in the final seconds.) or tonights game when Scola got the rebound and passed it to him, he ended up taking a 3 when there was about 22 seconds left instead of running out the clock. What a FOOL!

Tmac needs to know he is not effective in taking 20 foot jumpshots so he needs to be reminded to drive in and dish it out.

Yao is basically post and pass em guy. He knows his role really well.

Actually, everyone on this team knows their role pretty well except for rafer and tmac imo. Now if we can find our chemistry, we can work our strengths come playoff time.

LOL,the spotlight is on T-Mac tonight 'cause he came back to the lineup since Jan 9,and he did perform well in terms of his first game back.Scola was tremendously unbelievable tonight,he hit first 8 shots in total and grabbed that critical boards in the final minutes, props to him and Mr.Alston for his 3 pointers. ;)

Okay,I didn't miss that pivotal layup in the later part of the game, and I just couldn't get out of the image of ol' T-Mac when he was in his prime.I missed that, man.Yup,admittedly he did help his teammates offensively and defensively,he moved his azz well on the floor to guard his man.But you can't just neglect the minor problem he had on his jumping, his elevation to me was still a big issue and needs improvement, otherwise we'll see lots of his shots blocked by some scrubs  .That, buddy, ain't gonna be no embarrassment.
