Because he's shooting an abysmal 38.5% the last three games, including this one. Atleast he's been taking it to the basket (I'm assuming so by the FT's)-haven't seen the last three games......But ever since the Lakers he's been so inconsistent, but thats probably due to minutes he logged before and up to that point. Lets hope Tmac finds his groove back coming into the playoffs....... boy I'm starting to miss Yao, we need some consistency.......
All of these teams are running out of steam, playing bruised, playing very tired. Just in time for the playoffs where really good players miss really easy shots - because they are just too danged tired. Maybe they should let everyone sleep for a week and then start the playoffs - no?
dude, we've avg 108 pts since landry's been back. offense isn't the problem. we went to the ft line 42 times tonight. offense isnt the problem. we miss yao's defense the last few games b/c deke can't log too many minutes. tmac's shooting is around 43%. so it is what it is. but i think he's bounced back great from the 3 horrific games. adelman started to put tmac in the post more in the 2nd half of this game and voila -> easier shots. don't know why the pick and roll is being ran unless it's w/ landry
I want the Warriors to win, the Lakers should still get the 1 seed, look at their remaining schedule. A Golden State win helps Denver and Golden State possibly push Dallas out of the playoffs. I am not worried about Golden State or Denver catching the Rox.
When three of your players on the court have no idea how to put the ball in the hoop, offense will always be a problem. (Hayes, Deke, Battier, Rafer at times, Head). We got some contribution out of Hayes and Deke since they didnt trap T-Mac off the pick and roll, but when they double T-Mac, and Rafer's shot isn't falling, we'll be lucky to break 70 points.
I never blamed it all on Tmac and the offense. In fact, I blame it on the DEFENSE . Plus, I said Tmac has been shooting poorly as of late, not during the season so far, although he's been inconsistent this season too. I just hope Tmac can start shooting atleast 44% or so come playoff time and start developing an aggressive mindset, which I assume he has based on the good amount of FTs the last 5 games. I also agree about Tmac being used in the high post some more, which was what he mostly did during our streak. I was baffled as to why Adelman insisted on using Tmac in high Pn'R's in the Celtics game because that just wore him out , and it caused our offense to stagnate. The Celtics were just too good in defensive rotations, especially with Garnett in. But I digress, this is the past.......but all I'm saying is that Tmac iso at the elbow=good results......85% of the time.
I think the Mavadicks would be better off with Parris now that Nodickski has gone down. The Kidd trade combined with Jirk's injury have cost the Mavadicks two scorers (Parris and Jirk). For the trade to be effective, all their key scorers must be in the lineup (Jirk, Coward and Ferry).
I wanted the Lakers to win initially to give us more cushion on the Warriors, but I'm not so sure the more I think about it. Lakers 100 Warriors 94 7 min left in the game
Didn't get to see the game, first game had to miss in a while because of school, anyways how did landry look?
m8 ever since the Celtics game i've noticed the defences for T-mac have been extremely hard. His driving but his driving lane is crowded by at least 2 guys sometimes even three. Heck against Phoenix Shaq was disrespecting Mutombo and coming off to go into the driving lane for Mcgrady AS SOON as he got the ball. His working for his points madly. If his jumper ain't falling his % ain't going to be pretty.
