He needs to post more and I don't have problem with him catch and shoot. The bad usually starts when he tries to do too much and ignore the rest of the team. Get Luis more involved.
Was anybody else waiting for portland to start trying to front yao? I was really surprise they didn't start the game off fronting him..seems to be the only way to stop him
I maybe wrong but I think Portland actually tried to front Yao on one play where Zilla tried to come around him , and Shane threw the ball away , and then Yao sat down so they really didn't see how it would work, which was good news for the Rox
Really nice win. 1-0. I just saw the game starting from the 4th quarter and it was already over by then. Yao was perfect, good to see good guard play on our side. We even had lots of time for garbage minutes for the bench players. Really good win overall.
That's how I see this whole series playing out. They may give us a little bit more fight, in these next games, but will come up short every time. They ain't ready yet. SWEEEEEEEEEEEP!
So them losing by 25+ was the refs fault. Right... I mean, lets ignore Yao being in foul trouble in the 2nd half. I can agree that some borderline calls went to the Rockets. But nothing crazy, and certainly not 25 points worth of calls.
I was telling my friends the same thing. There is no way Batum or Roy can guard Artest in the post. He needs to post up more instead of settling for the outside shot.
i taped the game, i'm going to check if they fronted him or not and will come back with what i find..
