Great confidence builder for the team, and for indivual players. The Rockets have claimed homecourt advantage, and players like AB, Yao, Batman,Scola and Ron-Ron had individually great games.

I like our chances in game 2...but it'll be a lot tougher. Portland will not go down like this again in the series.

Greg Oden was shuffling his feet everytime he made a move to the basket for obvious traveling. I wonder why nobody from the Rockets side pointed that out to the officials. I know, I know, the Rockets just won by a blowout and we need to celebrate it. But folks, this is just one win in a seven game series and the Rockets need to point out any missed calls by the officials from the get go or they could be in trouble in the next several games.

Great game Yao!! Scola was awesome too and he should get more touches when the Blazers start fronting Yao in the next game and so on.

great win and I wonder what would have happened, if Yao didn't get his 4th foul even though 2 of them were probably BS. Can't complain winning by almost 30, lol. But it was probably a gift in disguise as giving Yao all that rest and only playing him 25 minutes.

I guess adleman was saving deke for the playoffs! Be prepare for some more finger wagging

I saw Yao making the traveling sign pretty much everytime Oden made a move. Refs aren't going to pay any attention to him.

i gotta give props to adelman...i've complained about his substitutions all season, but it's like he's been fooling us all along. clyde and bill mentioned this, that maybe adelman was holding back some, trying out things, and finally implemented the whole game plan...they were joking for the most part, but i think he was holding back his playoff moves, either that or he just figured it out...

the only problem i had was leaving Yao in when we had like a 24 pts lead in the 3rd, he had 3 fouls and i expected portland to make a run, he probably should have put deke in there then, and yao did pick up his 4th right after that...luckily the run never came and it didn't cost us. They really need to be alot more careful with yao's fouls in the future, sit him down whenver there's a big lead and he's in foul trouble.
