freakin oden had a pretty sick ass dominant center move on deke... didn't expect that from him. Hope he doesn't feel too confident with himself.
damnnnn, i live in toronto, can't go to h-town to see the rest of games i wish i could win lottory and fly to h-town
3 more to go. Not all will be as perfect as tonight, but as long as the Rockets focus on 3 more wins (especially, games 3 and 4) I think we are in good shape. 3 MORE WINS!!!! Just 3 more WINS!!!
alright, here's what i saw: Przybilla tried getting in front of him at 8:43 in the third, but Yao had already posted up, the entry passer was passing the ball and Prz tried to go around/reach around Yao, Yao held him back, thumbs up to Yao 8:07 in the third, shane with a knee to Przybilla's' family jewels That is all, Yao didn't really post up much in the third, he seemed to be opposite the action most of the time.
So I was right and on the mark as well, I think Shane knew what Zilla was trying to do thats why he tried to dump that pass into Yao ASAP
He was just faking and then leaning into him, which is what most players do, it was a good strategy by Oden, it's like boxing sometimes, when a guy has long arms you take that away by staying closer to him, so deke couldn't extend his arms, had to play D with his body and Oden drew fouls..
This is the 1st, 3 more to go Rockets, keep it up Am so proud of you all Sweep them clean! Don't allow them any comeback!! Go Rockets!!!
yeah especially with all those espn bandwaganer sport writers talking ****s about Portland winning the series for the past 2 days
Great dominant win...Impressive games from AB and Yao. Also very important to get that first one on the road. Now it's big to not be complacent and to keep that same intensity going into game 2.
Holy f**king *****.. That was hands down one of the best hustle/teamwork ballplay that I've ever witnessed (in the last decade) from this organization Brooks was a completely different player from the last 15 games or so.. Hell! He was a completely different player than I've ever seen him before! (At least in the 2nd quarter) I've never seen him so confident and aggressive the way he ran the ball.. he actually looked like he deserved to start on this team (if he keeps it up) Did yall see how AB would jet to the corner and his speed was so intense that ALL THREE defenders on that wing simultaniously atempted to cover him? If AB, Yao (perfect game tonight) keep it up as well as this teams aggresiveness - the more I like my chances against lakers next round!! (plus, Yao got some rest! 23 mins!)
glad to see adelman standing during most of the game instead of having his usual sitting stance with his hand supporting his head. Guess he's a playoffs guy too.
