Yes he did have 3 turnovers. But come on it's just his debut show. 1 assist, 1 bloc, 1 steal, 2-2 including a 3 within only 4 minutes. I'm just saying he has better potential than Wofer.

good win. good rest for yao. BC43! JW would have had a dunk if BB would have lobbed it right.

Nice to get Yao and the starters some rest.

Get ready for the next BIG game vs the Spurs.

Rockets start to show capable to hold up games like this... it's a good sign. Lets take care of Spurs and win in Utah!.. and the playoff will be interesting..

When I checked the scoreboard at one point, I saw Yao going 1-8 and said, "Yao gettin' served."

Anyone can get those stats in a random 4-minute span if they're trying to go crazy to prove themselves, IMO. People like Rick Brunson and Ryan Bowen used to get points and assists in the last minutes of blowouts against the T-Wolves. One game does not a trend make. Let's wait before we even gauge his potential.

Wafer, recently, has really shown a passing/assist game that is valuable also. He has also shown that he can drive without losing the ball...

I believe even if White became a starter everyone would just become enamored by some new mystery jumper at the end of the bench... there is an obsession with the unknown around here.

Maybe it was because the Wolves didn't seem interested in winning, but Yao didn't have to do a lot of heavy lifting during his 30 minutes. This one almost felt like a preseason game, actually.

BTW no offense to the Wolves, but they've been giving the Rockets much needed game-time practice to work on their weaknesses. The previous game, their continuous fronting of Yao really helped out the big fella IMO.

This game, the Rockets got an opportunity to practice passing and reposting Yao. I thought Brooks and the starters got some valuable practice time in.

Also, Barry's been looking good out there on limited minutes. Looks like he's ready for the playoffs.

Plus, the Timberwolves are basically D-league competition. One would expect white to put up 20-25 ppg against those scrubs. But playing against a real NBA team will show that he doesn't belong in the league.

His offense is going to be critical for making a run in the playoffs. Glad he's cutting and posting up more rather than running to the corner all the time. If he can play like this consistently on offense he can be an MVP type player.

The only thing he lacks is confidence. Once his confidence is back, shots will fall. :D

He is an athlete. This is something I have been preaching for a long time now. If you are quick and athletic you can get up and down the court and make plays. He only had 1TO!!

If we gave J White more time, he can put those numbers up in 15 - 20 minutes a game :D
