The worse, I worry, is yet to come. Watch how they officiate Yao tomorrow. Utah used to get lots of home calls. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Boycott the NBA. They are in great need of money right now and if a whole bunch of us say we've had enough and won't spend another penny on the NBA, then maybe they'll listen.

well when the other teams were playing get shafted by the refs, and the other teams fans start moaning... I usually go onto those teams...forums... and bring up how Yao is offciated..

that usually shuts them up pretty quick...

so its the fans of the other teams noticing how Yao gets officiated too... not just us...

All it takes is for China to boycott the NBA. But the chinese are too pathetic to rise up.

Will Yao ever get justice in this league. From sports pundits to officials he is always at the losing end of calls. What a whack job this sport is.

Yeh its going to be bad. Okur is the cheapest defender when guarding yao in the post, and at home he's going to get the benefit of the doubt. Yao just needs to be patient and make the most out of his opportunities.

They STILL do get all the calls. Like most Rocket fans, I'll be expecting about 7 really bad calls. Then i'll see 1 that goes over the line & i'll have more hatred for the Jazz, their fans, & David Stern. Could Stern have let the Jazz win WCFs of the later 90's so the Bulls couldn't play the Rockets?? Absolutely!

Our power forward were awesome.. With Yao free them from the line defenders, they should played like that all the time... Sweet.. Let's go to Utah for another fight!

this is on Yao himself to speak out. Stern could ignore JVG or even threaten him to shut up becoz he is just a coach. but Yao is a well-famed international star from an NBA-coveting country in market-wise. he makes a noise, no one can ignore.

the best way is: after handing in a collective video evidence, Yao speaks to the Stern in person, or by formal lawyer mail. ask for OFFICIAL recognition and adjustment. otherwise, Yao gonna talk to the media, sure about NBA RACIAL BIAS. I don't believe this wouldn't work.

but I think Yao isn't that kind of tough guy.that's not the Chinese way to do things. Chinese don't pick a fight until they really think they can't survive.

Where's the new "Yao got punished, Fire Adelman!" thread? :) Yao only got 30 minutes of play tonight.

I really dont' get it. Aside from racism or maybe size-ism, I can't understand why the NBA does not want Yao to be a superstar. Would it not be to the NBA's benefit if they allow Yao to be a top 3 player by reffing him fairly? It would add a spin and another dimension to the featured top players of Lebron, Kobe, Wade, and Howard. There would be more hype and more interest for all Rockets away games, "Big bad 30-15 YAO is coming to town!" It would be a huge marketing bonanza...instead of marginalizing him with all these BS calls. What has to happen before the man is reffed fairly?

Sometimes I feel that the refs are letting their own feelings make the calls. They see this huge 7'6" guy and they feel for the underdog. they see this big guy camped out in the paint and they must be thinking

"wow, that's just not fair. let me see if he's committing a 3 second violation" Whistle!. ...or "Yao's so huge, he's going to crush people to death out there. I better make sure he doesn't hurt anyone." Whistle! ..."this 6'11" player is pushing, shoving, and wrestling real hard out here. he hit yao but nothing happened. that can't be a foul." silence....

yes I know this is USA. but he is Chinese :D I know his mental setting, because I am a Chinese spent some(4) years in USA, too. I bet Yao hasn't been as localized as I used to be, coz his life in USA is too simple--never faced a street tough, I guess.
