I just dont see it...Maybe we can bring in Joe Johnson next year and Ariza can supplement him.

For all you fathers out there that want your kids to be basketball players...make sure you teach them the fine art of dribbling before anything lol.

Favored to lose that one, glad we took care of business tonight......win the ones you are supposed to, and steal a few you aren't and we win 50.

I think Denver maybe a little too much for us to handle but hopefully i'll be eating my shoe tomorrow...But we should have a nice mismatch tomorrow at SG with Ariza and mcgrady sharing the roll

Comparing Ariza to Alston is a bit too much. Two completely different players. I really don't get why people keep complaining about Ariza's shooting, when he's just now coming into a new team, new system, and new role. Beating a dead horse here, but Ariza will learn to get his shots in a more efficient and effective manner as he gets more and more used to an expanded role. T-Mac coming back helps (for this season atleast), as will Yao. Give it some time, geez.

I appreciate Coach for providing more detail into his approach to T-Mac. As a fan, that's all I wanted to hear; more specifics and not just blanket statements.

Budinger, Brooks, Scola and Co looked good tonight. Tomorrow's game will be a challenge, hoping for a win!!!

Budinger had a phenomenal game. However, somebody needs to tell him there are albino caterpillars crawling over his eyes.

I was sitting 4 rows behind Morey tonight.

He spent the entire 3rd quarter(no BS) either talking or texting/e-mailing on his blackberry Curve (Yes a Curve).

has really happy when AB crossed Stucky and took it to the basket.

who knows who all the chatter was with.

Clyde & Bill made comments about our recent bad free throw % being due to tired legs & the tired legs being due to all the running & defense we've been playing. I think our declining field goal % is a result of that also. That's why I'm really happy to see T-Mac doing well in limited minutes. With him in the rotation after the all-star break, that gives us a 10 man rotation(4 for 5/4 & 6 for 3/2/1). We can still run & defend and have legs left for better shooting.

Wow, you predicted that having a wing who can score would make Brooks and the rest of the starters more efficient. You're like a latter-day Nostradamus.

LOL - I am just tossing it up there for all the LOWRY should start peeps....because they fail to realize that one of the main reasons Brooks doesn't get that many assists is he doesn't play enough with Budinger and Landry....

Not really shocked, but hey, you guys are free to predict it too and then give yourselves a reach around......

    Wow, intangibles at work!

Actual game action could very much tell when McGrady was in the Pistons just happen to go on a long dry spell, and Rockets built a lead. Not sure what McGrady contributed besides maybe his prestige scaring them, or maybe his teammates got an energy boost.

Then Chase came in for him and kept things stablized from then on out. Which is still good cuz it means Chase stayed poised and played in the system like a pro. Made more good plays than bad plays.

I think it's FAR too early to be judging Ariza as a 'failed star'.

His game has taken ENORMOUS strides developmentally, and has brought so much responsibility. Thus far I'm completely shocked and amazed that he can even average 17ppg - that's a phenomenal number for a guy who has been a 5th or 6th option on offense most of his career.

That he's shooting 39% is not great - but hey, the guy is 24, let's cut him some slack and give him some room to grow as a scorer? This time next year we may well be singing a different tune.

Either way, he's an MLE player, and we're getting good value out of him (crazy swinging elbow aside)
