Great game. I don't think Yao needed to be kept in past 2 minutes left. He really should have been taken out when Ron got fouled with 51 seconds. Next play Yao got thrown down, luckly he didnt land on his leg wrong, which could have easily happened. If it's an obvious in, take him out asap.
We were limiting his minutes. He has 4 assists and 5 rebounds. Although not good enough, but not bad enough for hate and trade threads considering he has shown up the last few games.
Why does it seem like scrub players have career games against us!? Joel Anthony and ****. Yaku-whatever the **** his name is and Chalmers were making everything. Good win though. We held D-Whistle in check.
his knee is weak so he plays like crap most of the time. He's basically limited himself to shooting 3's and going in the post 3 times a game. His defense is come and go. More to the point the rockets are just limiting his minutes until he feels well again.
RA has done a nice job in limiting Yao and Tracy's minutes on this road trip. It will only help when Battier is available. Yao was dominate tonight, of course. The Scolandry power forward combo played really well again, too. I thought Landry and Artest really choked the life out of the Heat at the end. Our defense really picked up at the end. Nice win and great road trip!
Very nice finish again in the 4th quarter. That's how a good team should do things, keep it close and stay in the game through 3 and then close it out when it matters.
Team is deep, T-Mac with six points and the Rockets still break 100 with six players in double figures. Too bad the defense was pretty awful tonight.
offense was kinda ugly, i was reminded the jvg era.... sigh, maybe when t-mac is back in full strength, we can have a more dynamic offense, not just posting yao is various ways.
