    great win

but the rockets need to devise a play where they both run down the clock and score...rather than letting the clock run down to 3 seconds and jacking up whatever...

Man, with the exception of 1 or 2 plays, Scola really stunk tonight. Nice way to tough it out for a win.

When Yao's out of the game, I'd like to see us run the Scola/Brooks pick-and-roll to death. It always gets us a high percentage shot.

Brooks totally got robbed of 2 OFFENSIVE CHARGES. I am totally shocked that the refs call charging on him. Seriously, it's not even close if you watch the replay. I mean seriously, i can't explain this none other than because Brooks isn't a star yet?? Seriously, if i replace Brooks with say.. someone like Kobe in the same situation, do you think the refs would give a charging to Kobe?? **** yea!! This is why NBA refs are so ****ed up and so inconsistent. Why does it matter what your status is as NBA players, your job as a ref is to make the right call no matter what happened and what the your status is. THAT IS YOUR ****ING JOB!!

NBA refs: the world worst most inconsistent refs in ANY PROFESSIONAL sports.

Was that the most un-dramatic double overtime game.... ever?

Was that the most un-dramatic double overtime game.... ever?

Seriously, I can't even remember one great highlight. No big shots or buzzer beaters.

How was this a double overtime game? It was like they declared it to be 6 quarters before the game even started hahaha

P.S. get yao more shots PLEASE

Dea Ron Artest, you are not Kobe Bryant.

I hope no one blames mainly the players for tonight. Adelman deserves most of the blame. Clearly the problem was the stronger and bigger stuckey giving our guards problems and then getting to the rim, where he either scored on our small center or drew Yao away enough to leave Detroit's big men open for offensive rebounds. Stuckey's points and their rebounding killed us.

Deke should have played more give our guards support when the guards got by them. Deke also would have done better rebounding against Dyess, who kept outjumping everyone, and kwame, who was taller than chuck, scola.

Anyone here worry about Artest like I do? If he does not come correct, I don't think we can go very far in the playoffs.

I don't know how many times tonight I've cursed him out because of his selfish plays!

Yao didn't even practice or do anything the last 3 days either. He came off a flu, give him credit for being able to not only be clutch but to play with the flu and play for 45 minutes.

Good, solid win. I'm kinda concerned about the rebounding though. If we face Portland or New Orleans in the playoffs with this kind of effort we're screwed.

But great win otherwise and it was much needed to hold on to 3rd in the West.

I admit I spoke prematurely,I didn't think we could wrest back the initiative.
I'm relieved more than happy. We are unique in our own ways. The key is to learn from these games, to decrease our mistakes and not to think that everything is all right just because we made a successful comeback.
