Yao didn't rebound well this game. But he is the team leader in rebounding and you should know what kind defence trouble we are in when we don't have him on court. Your comment "his rebounding and defense just have to be helped out by the others" is baseless. If anything, Yao is helping others all the time in defence and box out for other guys to get rebounds.

The most disturbing thing about this game was seeing Rafer setting himself up to take shots( I have complained so many times every season).
Of course he missed on most of them, while there were open players waiting for the pass from their Point Guard. Rafer needs to be strapped down and his knuckles whipped. :p

I will like to see it when Battier is playing, but still I approve of it

The Rockets look like they are going throught the motions, no passion. Seems to me they have a bad case of Adelmism. :D

Did anyone see the replay on ESPN during the broadcast where Rafer was upset and was jawing at Artest?!?!?! What was that about. It was in the middle of the first quarter I believe.

I agree, we are not a screen and cut kind of team. We're a team that creates mismatches and forces teams to double....and hopfully we get good shots off of those double teams.

Rafer probably called for a play and Artest decided to make something for himself on his own.. I initially thought it would start something but fortunately, it didnt because the two still played well together when both of them were on the court at the same time.

Rafer calls play, Artest then either forgets or ignores it and feeds the ball to Yao. Rafer goes pouting off to the wing and when Ron Artest sees this he gets furious and tries to call a T to talk about it. Meanwhile, away from the soap opera, Yao get's called for a travel on a nice drive and dunk. Comedy.

You could be right. Rafer passed it to Ron and then drifted to the left corner. Ron swung around to the top of the arc maybe foul line extended on the right side and dumped it into Yao. Thats when Rafer went off.

Good god rafer has to be the biggest douche out on the court. There was a stretch in the 3rd or 2nd quarter where the team went on a run and Rafer took it upon himself to sabotage us.

He took a spot up 3 which he bricked and turned in2 a fast break at the other end. Then he followed that up with a great drive 2 the basket where he was stuffed by the rym and to round out the series. On a 3-1 fastbreak he gets a pass from brooks, feigns the pass to Yao, misses a layup, nd the wiz get a fastbreak at the other end.

PLEASE MOREY get a PG who plays consistently well not consistently bad, or one who doesnt make stupid decision after stupid decision  .

That fastbreak was probably the biggest facepalm moment Ive seen in a game. Horrible horrible execution.

We do need to improve. It was a great finish to the game by our great players, but if not for Landry's inspired play throughout the game...we lose to a very bad team.

    Sixers 111, Rockets 107 (F)
The Sixers rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Rockets 111-107 in Houston on Tuesday night.

HOUSTON, Jan. 15 (AP) -- Down by 16 points in the second half, the Philadelphia 76ers somehow forgot that they'd lost seven consecutive games.

Andre Miller scored 26 points, Samuel Dalembert added 19 points and blocked a shot in the final seconds, and the Sixers rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Rockets 111-107 on Tuesday night.

McGrady is the player of the game along with Landry. Both played great tonight. Along with Yao and that one powerful dunk he did on the rookie. Yao really needs to play like that everytime. Its painful to see him not play with that passion all the time. 7'6 the guy should be dunking on everyone. Instead he gets his shots blocked or is laying the ball up. Come on Yao "No Layups". Im glad Artest realized that with his dunk earlier but he got into foul trouble.

Last but not least I wonder what the haters have to say now. When the game is on the line give it to your go 2 guy and McGrady stepped up once again. 3 after 3 after 3. We should give props to Skip also. Even tho he sucked the whole game his one and only shot started it all.
