you're seeing things...it's unrealistic to maintain such a huge lead for 48 mins...the other team will either make a run int he middle of it or late...late in this case.
17 points 18 assists 5 steals is not the stat line of a backup. NO backup PG in the league can put up that kind of production, even if it is only one night. Scoring 30 is nice, and given enough shots, a lot of guys in the NBA can do it. The line Lowry put up tonight is SPECIAL. I am not on the "trade Brooks" bandwagon at all, I think he will have a crucial role on this team. But right now, you simply cannot keep Lowry on the bench.
Great win, our backcourt played great! However with that said was not impressed at all with the fourth quarter efforts, don't know if they actually just played bad or if they stopped caring.

No backup PG can put up that line whether it is against the Clippers or the Kings or any other "weak team". Not to mention a Memphis team that still technically has a better record than us. Naysayers have no place calling other teams "weak".
i dont think it's because the team is weak, but because it's his former team...it's not a coincidence he tied his high in assists the last time they played memphis and then beat it tonight, again against memphis. He's playing great, but it's still a small sample. He needs to keep it up. We know he can pass and run, but to have a shot at beating out brooks for the job he has to keep shooting well.
the problem is that we need an distributor in the second unit, i still think lowry can play with the second unit but brooks can't, maybe Twill will help???
