    Always does...

If you have season tickets, and arnt going to the game, let me know and I'll gladly purchase them from you, as Im sure many others would. I hate seeing so many empty seats.

On another note, good game. The clippers are much better than their record indicates.

I'd like to see more give and gos by Yao and Head, and possibly Yao and AB.

Good win. Yao played BIG and controlled the paint. Landry just flat-out torched Davis or whatever the hell that scrub's name is.

Great game by Rafer. Ron still shooting great when his feet are set, but he obviously has no lift when he goes to the basket right now.

Instead of trading anybody how about we do just what morey said they were gonna do all along and just open a roster spot and get Mutumbo back. Instead of paying 10 mill for a shot blocker!

Its more than that. Right now, even when healthy, the rox can't beat the Celts or lakers. Now u may not believe that, but they can't matchup with either. The reason why is because the rox don't have a guy big nor agile enough to play kg or gasol. Getting camby allows the rox to single cover those guys instead of doubling, making the team a scramble drill. Getting camby also solves the need to bring deke back as a backup because camby can slide over to the 5. When you're in this 2yr window that the rockets are in, you don't want to rely on luck to duck La. That happened in 94 and 95 ducking the sonics, but I doubt it happens again. Plus they would be giving scola who is ok and head, francis, and barry, 3 fuys that won't even play. Plus it gives the rox another 10m in 2010.

Either the Clippers are alot better than their record indicates, or the Rockets "played down" to the their level of competition AGAIN. I can't decide which. The Clippers looked quicker and more athletic. The Rockets look like they are trying but seem to be running in mud with the exception of Brooks and maybe Rafer, who had an excellent and rare shooting night. Landry played strong, but Scola had one of his nights where he can't hit anything. And Artest continues to shoot WAY TOO MUCH. A win is a win, but the game bored me to tears, I kept switching to classic UFC fights.

It's a lot more interesting to watch the Rockets play on the road as opposed to at home in the library.

If The clippers were dumb enough to make this trade (a quality big for garbage) it would be intriguing. However you would only have at this point rafer, brooks and wafer as your only three guards on the team since Mcgrady is consistantly hurt. You would risk having only 4 total guards on your team with one being the oft hurt mcgrady??? This would mean that Wafer would have to be the starting 2 guard and or brooks while one of the 3 guards playing the full game and hoping nobody else gets hurt or in foul trouble. Plus if you suggest playing Camby and Yao at the same time your two post players on the second unit would be Chuck and Landry which is what we do now and they get in foul trouble. You dont need chuck or landry playing center. We need a legit back up to Yao to hold down the paint while he rests. Good idea but will never happen. Better off getting rid of wafer or head, send joey d to the d-league, and picking up a well rested Mutumbo for small one year contract. We need some extra money for next year to resign Artest. Plus we could wait and see what Francis is capable of doing before we just up and trade him. Morey has already said it too, there going to wait and see where there at injury wise before making a move ,one which will create space for Mutumbo. He knows that we need some more length but he isnt going to sign some big scrub. There is nobody realistically cap wise that we could pick up. The Rockets have tons of space as do many teams for 2010 already.

Nobody knows what the Rockets could do yet with this roster at full strength because they have yet to play a major opponet at full strength.

Kracka- The clipps are cheap. They always under the cap and really close to the mandatory spending floor. When Kaman comes back, they'll have 3 guys in the 4/5 rotation that make over 10m each. One of those guys will be coming off the bench and it will probably Camby. They also have the youngster in p.davis. Camby makes the most sense for the rox because he's a natural 4. He would give the rox a perfect 32min rotation with Camby, Yao, and Landry. Hayes would be strictly emergency/situational which is what he is. As far as the other throw in, Head and Barry aren't going to play when Shane, Artest, and tracy get healthy and francis is done. So basically all the rox are giving up is scola for camby. They could bring back Strawberry as a 3rd pg, sign demarr johnson, julius hodge or Terrance Morriss for depth fill in. Getting Camby would vault this team into real contenders to me.

We will see what happens. The clippers have been spending money lately and I don't think that they would pick up Camby just to get rid of him after 18 games. He has the contract that expires before the 2010 free agency. Kaman was the one who has been rumored to be traded. He has the contract that they dont want that goes till 2011.Would they really want Luther Head(who is just not that good),Francis(who nobody knows can even comeback),Brent Barry(who is injured right now , don't know if you can even trade injured players and who came to us because hes old and wants to play for a contender which is not the CLippers)Luis Scola( who as you said is just "ok"). Hayes and landry would still be the front court for the second unit. I dont know about having strawberry of wafer being a starter for a whole month and then splitting time with Tracy when he comes back from injury. Why dont we just do like our MIT educated GM Darryl Morey said and just wait to see what the injury situation is and then just cut and/or trade one of our players that doesn't play and pick up Mutombo. I agree sometimes that it looks that we need some more length down low, but as Rick and Daryl said we actually do better when we go small.
