The Kings played tough D at the start of the game, or was it because they are familiar with our offense? Got a ton of turnovers from us. Rox had a hard time adjusting to the calls. Bench unit's energy got us back in the game, courtesy of AB and CL.

In the endgame though, we shut down their franchise players. SBattier shut down Tyreke and JHill shut down DMCousins. Woohoo!!!

Hill actually has got a bit of a mean streak when he gets angrier. He sure was swinging those elbows to secure a defensive rebound.

Hill was easily the player of the game, as he shut down the pain in the last 5 minutes.

How many more of these good games by jordan hill will it take before RA starts him over chuck at the 5?? Is RA starting chuck at the 5 so he can see how the opposing team's center plays

Plus Dalembert getting a dunk back on him ... haha

If that's what it takes to get Hill to play with this much focus, bring it on

Perfectly fine with the pace we are bringing Hill along. He still has too many lapses on defense and offense. Missing shots is fine but mental mistakes need to be corrected. That's why you make him earn his minutes and only let him play when he is staying solid. That is how you create good habits in raw rookies.

On a night like tonight when he had 3 quick fouls in the first half he was pulled with a short leash. In the second half he adjusted and was playing with great energy and not making many mistakes, you milk him for as long as you can in that case which we did. Paid off nicely for Adelman with the win, and a big confidence boost for Hill.

Rockets should get a tip jar going for every game Hill can be the long tall dude that blocks shots. It'll be his raise for the year.

    3 Things

    #1 Lowry MUST START
Brooks will eventually get his legs back and be effective for the entire game. He looked really winded, but still looked OK from long range. He should play with the second group. He is a "ball stopper" on offense and should be used in the second group to keep a scoring threat on the floor.

#2 HILL should start & not traded
He should be kept, groomed, developed into a starting 4/5. His natural position should be the 4

#3 Martin is underappreciated by a lot of people on Clutchfans.
Although he always ONLY plays the first 3 quarters, but will just about guarantee 20pts in those quarters. He creates a NEED for a closer (someone who can take over the scoring in the 4th).

Is there anyone saw when a rocket shooting first free throw, Carl Landry tried to hi-five with him? He confused which team he belongs to
