i had watched a news for interview the australia's coach from CCTV
the journalist asked the coach : is Anderson can dribble ?
    Coach said : no !
the journalist asked again : is Anderson can pass ?
    Coach replyed : no !
the journalist asked the third times : is Anderson can rebound ?
Coach still calmed and response : no !
at last the journalist was gave up and complained : so why do u arrange him in your first line-up.
Coach smiled and said : HE CAN SHOOT !

    Post game mid-range tracker:

    AB 1-3
    Ariza 0-1
    Cbud 0-2
    Landry 1-3
    Andersen 4-6 (with 2-2 on long 2's)
    Lowry 0-1
    Scola 0-1
    TOTAL 6-17

So the Rockets attempted far more mid-range shots than they had in any game thus far, 10 came in the first half and one in garbage time. They still have a lot of work to do. In terms of consistency Landry and Scola have gone every game with a jumper but the rest have been off averaging less than two a game. That is unacceptable if the Rockets plan on making the playoffs.

CBud could up his attempts to maybe four each game depending on the number of minutes. Ariza and Brooks need to calm down on the 3 point shooting and realize that the space between the 3 point line and the paint is not filled with burning hot coals.

I liked Landry and Andersen on the boards but I am doubtful whether Andersen can play 20 minutes each night.

The team has a lot of issues: Andersen is too weak to play the post, too many 3's and turnovers.

Oh, and Kobe Byrant had played the past two games with a pulled groin and both Lakers games were played without Pau Gasol.

Do you seriously think any Rockets fan gives two ****s about any opposing player that's on the bench because of an injury?

This groin thing isn't an excuse for Kobe. He's known to play when sick, and his career high came off a night he had severe flu. NO EXCUSE! We have 40 mil. worth on the bench. What excuse now?

btw video up on youtube of Ariza getting his ring, should check it out if you haven't. Seems like his ring will inspire us to play better basketball throughout the season.

After being held scoreless in the second half by the Nuggets few days ago, all the kobe wankers said he will go crazy on the Rockets.
After an awful 5/20 shooting, Mr. Clutch Kobe Bryant used his groin as an excuse? That's lame!

Great to come home and see we got the W. Just waiting on League Pass Broadband as usual to put the game up. Just made an easy $20 from this. Stupid bandwagon Laker fan mate of mine was giving me **** about us being crippled this year and said the Lakers would win 70 games and we would be the worst in the West. So I said I bet we beat you once and he agreed to it, now he wants double or nothing?? do I take? haha.

I was rewatching the game. Anyone notice the lakers bench do a leg crossover when the lakers first score  a basket. Really corny.

Chuck Hayes should definitely be on the all defensive team. The first 5 or 6 games, they were trying to post up Chuck ala Kevin Garnett and finding no success at all. The last 3 games, teams have played him differently. Now, they are actually playing to get his man a shot BEFORE Chuck can guard him. The numbers really show it. Look at all the steals in the first 5 or 6 games from Chuck and look at the last 3. Less steals because there are less defensive possessions. Also, when he comes over to help, teams are passing early on the drive because they think they are going to pickup the charge.

Now, obviously this is just smart basketball, but how many players in The NBA have that much respect from the opposing team? Most teams have at least one guy that the defense is geared toward stopping, like Kobe, Lebron, etc. But, the offense stopping a guy on defense? Now thats awesome :)

there's no peeps about it because he only played like 18 mins, most of those were early in the game when they got in a hole and he came out due to foul trouble. The rest of the guys like scola who also had a minus got it back into a positive number by staying in the game a bit longer and managing a short run before the bench came in and brough them back.

It's important to watch the game when trying to evalute the +/- rather than just looking at the boxscore. He actually played worse offensively in the second half, but his +/- was probably better in that half because of the team's performance as a whole.
