He was looking for a possible steal or help defense. Biggest sins for Lowry: Shooting touch, stupid shooting fouls and overly aggressive defense.
We just can't put them away in the 4th and needed an extra period to finish them off. What a nail biter, glad we pulled it out. Oh, what upset me the most during the game was the officiating today, what the hell was that no-call and bull**** calls.
Horrible defense in last posession. We decide to defend after what we saw in the wolves game. Ok. We fail on that switch on a cut and they miss an open three. We've been lucky, but again, we played badly with +7 and 2 minutes remaining. At least, WIN.
Agreed. We were overachieving at the beginning of the season, cathing good teams by surprise. It ain't happening anymore because now everybody knows the Rockets play hard and are matching our intensity.
I was privately wondering the same thing; we've had some off games before these last few weeks, but it's been pretty sad these last five games or a bit longer. Landry in particular hasn't looked himself the last three, even accounting for being double teamed, IMO at least.
Ariza made at least 7 very good passes in traffic to an open player (usually Scola), but half of the shots didn't go in.
From that angle, I thought Jennings just tripped himself and fell to the floor, accidentally it appeared that AB pushed him and he fell.
True. If we beat the crappy teams and hang in there with the good teams we still might have a shot at plyayoffs. But if not, its not like the lottery is the worst thing that could happen this year.
Man those refs suck!!!how bad does landry have 2 get hit 4 them 2 call something???they call a blockin fouls on brooks Because supposly he ranned over bogut, but when bogut hits Landry theirs no call!?!? COMMON MAN!!!.......but atleast We won and we needed a win
the way the Rockets are playing these last games indicates : 1- either they lost completely the rhythm 2- or they compete better against good team 3- and they do really need a superstar to change this team with that said i don't see them making the playoffs this year they're gonna finish about 42 wins
I actually thought Brooks played pretty well despite the poor shooting. I even thought this was a better overall game for him than some games where he's shot well. He didn't let his poor shooting effect other parts of his game. He made relatively good decisions with the ball. His only 2 turnovers were on questionable charges, particularly the last one. Jennings hit some daggers but Brooks' defensive effort was solid given that it's a weakness and he was making hustle plays. Seeing some of the shots he missed, I think he's fatigued. Another 50 minutes today. His legs weren't there the last two games. A lot of his shots were hitting front iron. Having said all that, I don't know why Adelman isn't using Lowry and Budinger more, especially given the heavy minutes Brooks and Ariza have played the last week or so.
Im just back from the Toyota Center and I know you get a different perspective when you're at the game as opposed to watching it on tv but why didnt Budinger get more playing time after an exceptional 2nd quarter and to a lesser extent why didnt Andersen play in the 2nd half? I think he had 6 points, 5 rebounds and an assist during the few minutes he got. Maybe I was caught up in the game but I have to question why this happened?
ddint watch the game...but i'm hearing the officiating was a pretty big problem...so are the fans that are treating this as another bad game by houston taking that into consideration? Perhaps had the officiating been better the game wouldnt have been so close?
need a superstar finisher to close out games, this is where yao is missed.i really really really really want a tmac trade to go down, this team needs a spark.
