Agreed. I just wish that the Rockets would run more plays for Martin in the third quarters of games. People accuse Martin of "disappearing", but that has a lot to do with the fact that they choose not to give him the ball.

Sure, Martin's not a superstar. But he gets remarkably little respect around here for a legit 23+ ppg scorer (top-10 in the league).

Anyone else hold their breath when he went down? We've avoided his injury history so far, but I was concerned when he didn't get up right away.

Most of the fans were, but I think I saw Twill and CLee over there panting.

I'm going to hold out and wait for tomorrow morning news. As we all know, it's always worse the day after.

Rick can't do anything about 5 fouls. He tried to stick with JHill as long as he could.

I think he's fine. I was mostly concerned because it looked like he couldn't straighten his leg initially. I thought maybe he tore something in his knee, but he played fine afterward.

I'm glad Portland won. I'm not looking for the Rockets to take their spots at 8. I want Utah's spot, and then some.

I was in row 1 behind the rocket's bench tonight, it was loud and awesome. Glad I chose to go to this game. John Wall looked mediocre and Chuck produced many turnovers.. I think he is so underrated. Twill didn't really looked irritated to me.

Just watched the replay. AB had some careless TO's in the 1st half ,but his decision-making jumped to a new level as he made some pretty decisive and smart passes to the rockets for some easy layups or 3 pt shots. His speed and handle appear to be on their back.

Jordan Hill really impressed me with his shots from long range in the 1st half. He was a factor in the paint, and showed some really good 1 on 1 D.

Long time Clutchfans reader from Australia here. Love the analysis and comments from all the members on this board (even DD :) ). Fortunately had the day off so got to stream this game.

Great to see the Rockets win a close fought game against a young and extremely athletic team. Would have loved to have seen what Terrence Williams can do but I trust Adelman's plan and rotation. I'm sure we will have a chance to seem him play soon enough.

he was about 60-75% on that road trip, he's now at about 80-90, he probably needs another week to be back at full strength.

Maybe Lebron will dunk on budinger so hard he might fall over and sprain his wrist. That might help him get out of the shooting slump.

I wouldn't worry about it. Jordan Hill had the same demeanor in NY and then a little when he first arrived here. Then Budinger helped him and he started get a little playing time and things turned around in his game and his attitude. I don't think it's a bad thing to be annoyed that your not getting minutes when you are confident you are better. I do think it is bad if you let that spill over into your effort in practice and work ethic. The bottom line he is a much better athlete and almost for sure a better basketball player than Bud and should get an opportunity soon enough. Let's see what he does with it before we are too critical.
