The blazers win was only a speedbump. Hopefully the team keeps motivated to fight to go higher

Bud being posterized by the man he is guarding would be a step in the right direction, because it would mean he was actually close enough to him to get dunked on.

Loved what AB showed in this game. Seems alot quicker and his timing was alot better. I liked how he adjusted from his first missed layup and made the second identical one.

I'm already depressed about playing the Heat. Kevin Martin has to guard Dwayne Wade.... Oh my god.

Glad we won, but I'd feel better with J. Hill out there in the last 4 minutes than Chuck

I was at the game tonight about 3 rows ahead of the rowdies, they did a great job! They got my dad all pumped up and everything, lol. My pops hasn't been to a game since we went to the summit when I was a kid, and he started jumping up and cheering with the rest of the fans, it was awesome. Keep up the good work guys!

    Go Rockets

    Props to Kevin Martin

Late in the fourth he took a hard foul, and was shaken up a bit. Afterwards they put a sleeve over it and made his foul shots to give us the lead, and then after that we stopped the Wizards, Brooks hit a 3, and we stopped them again. On the ensuing fast break he was directing the team and got Brooks another open shot, who passed it to Martin, also open for the back to back 3.

All after he got hurt, dude showed some of that stuff, what do we call it? It's what the tinman wanted in the Wizard of Oz....oh yeah Heart.

Great comeback win. Chuck Hayes was spectacular on defense.

Damn, that Wizards front line is so freaking tall now after the Arenas-Lewis trade:

    SF: Rashard Lewis (6-11)
    PF: Andrae Blatche (7-0)
    C: Javale McGee (7-1)

And they all have long arms.

I have to say he has really started to show some things I didn't think he could do...such as make contested shots, play not horrible defense, and rebound some.

What I don't understand about Martin is how his footwork on offense is pretty good, but on defense just a complete trainwreck at times. Chuck needs to teach lessons after every game or something like that.

His defense has been good lately too, he still gets picked off easily and gets lost at times thought

I agree with this. I think Kevin Martin has been somewhat unfairly labeled for being wimpy--probably because of his injury history and frail frame. But when we played Chicago earlier this month, he really turned around what looked to be a sure loss in the third quarter. He looked like absolute crap, playing with the flu, but he still played hard and got us back in the game. I think he has a lot more heart than we gave him credit for, and I'm thrilled he's proving it more and more by helping us close out games in the fourth.

I noticed that as well. His defense isn't as awful anymore. It' just so-so now.

Yeah its great that he's been stepping up lately in the 4th quarters. What do ya know? We're winning games too =) hopefully he and the rockets keep playing on both ends of the floor.

i swear, just as i started getting super pissed we were losing to the wizards, the rockets made their comeback  (I think it was that nick young 3 that gave 'em a 10 point lead on on us)
