brooks and landry beasted at the end..my heart dies a little whenever i see ariza's box score holy crap 7 for 23??? 1 for 9 threes??? im starting to like what andersen is doing, he'll def get more playing time as the season goes on
How does a team as small as the Rockets get so many offensive boards? It's insane how many offensive boards they had tonight.
the thunder always look like they think the team with the biggest dunks win the game. they look shocked that it was the score that determines the outcome, right?
The Rockets will go as Brooks goes. I would much rather have him take 20 shots vs Ariza's low percentage shots. When he is decisive on what he wants to do, they have a legit chance at winning. Now if he could only show some consistency in his game...
Well said. Those announcers said something like, "With a dunk like that you say give me my ball and head home". I was thinking, with a dunk like that, you gotta walk away with a W or you're going to be on BSPN.
very impressed with RA. at first when i saw brooks coming in for lowry with about 6 to go in the 4th, i was like ughhhh, AB meltdown coming. but really brooks was the reason we won in the 4th. very satisfying win. taylor looked pretty solid on offense, a step slow on defense though.
Is Landry emerging as the "star" of this team? He has consistently been the Rocket's best performer, no?
Seriously, the difference between Andersen's first few games and the last few is huge, very encouraging. As for Ariza, eh, he's not ready to be a primary offensive option. He's a fourth option on a good team. But I see progress there too. Dude could barely take two dribbles with his left hand this time last year. I'm ignoring his %s for now. I was more concerned about Brooks, seemed for a while like he hit a wall: a guard (Westbrook) who is much taller and *almost* as quick. Really good to see him stick with it.
