Read that on ESPN as well. Think I'll leave tomorrow until someone sorts out what the real deal is :p

"Tonight I went back to square one, even before surgery, is how my knee is feeling right now," McGrady said.

Good win, but the injury bug never leaves Houston. I think a day of rest and some precautionary tests are needed for Yao. I wouldn't mind if Tmac took a few games off, just so he can get right again. Artest really looked like he was in pain.

You can tell, it wasn't just an ordinary rolling of his ankle. He's as tough as it gets, and if he's screaming in pain, then you know he'll be out a couple of games atleast. Hopefully it won't be a nagging problem all season. I don't think it was anything like Parker's ankle sprain, but it is bad enough to miss games on. Good thing Battier is getting into shape though. We can really use him now...

I would definetily have some MRI's, X-rays, and bone scans done on Yao's foot, just because of the numerous injuries on that foot alone. There's no harm in doing that. I'd rather let him miss a week instead of months of the season. Make everything is okay. He has a screw in his foot now, so things are a little different. Remember how many surgeries Grant Hill needed after he had so many different screws placed in and out of his ankle. Thats the last thing Yao or the Rockets need.

Tmac is still okay offensively and still great at times, but its on defense where you can clearly see he isn't quite right. When he was forced to leave the game, and Wafer came in, the Rockets as a team were able to pick up their defense significantly. Thats why I wouldn't mind him getting the rest.

What are guys worry about? Artest is fine

"People sprain their ankles all the time," said Artest, who had 17 points and 11 rebounds. "It's not broke."

Yeah, he has a spraigned ankle. He'll probably sit out a few games.

he's back to limping again (if he was to play again tonight, he would limp and the team said they would pull him if they saw that).

my god it's frustrating. just shut it down tracy. just play when you're ready. take a note from shane this yr or landry last yr. don't rush back.

So what's up with the Chron report? I just heard on NBATV that T Mac would get an MRI Tuesday and may have to shut it down. Anybody care to clear up how bad the injury is?

Im numb. How could it be that this would happen. What i dont like is that every game i care less about the score than if everyone is fine. Every game for this team is like a a mine field. You have to worry so dang much about health that you barely get to sit back and enjoy it. It sucks and im tired of it.

Ever since TMac came here, he's spreading the injury bug to everyone! Yao used to be an iron man until TMac arrived.

I think TMac is done. Even during the post game interview, he seems like he doesn't have any heart. He sounded like he wants to quit.

Sounds like the words from a quitter.

T-Mac just loves drama. He loves it so much he even believes it. At the same time, he and Adelman need a handy excuse to let T-Mac rest as much as possible until the playoffs. Now that Ron's here, he can play as many minutes as he can handle while T-Mac watches from the bench. T-Mac sure didn't look to be in pain or worried on the bench later in the game.

were you the same guy who thought tracy is evil b/c he ignored yao?

dude wants to play. but he's hurting himself and the team out there. he wants to play at a high level again and that won't happen if he's limping.

he should have taken the first month off so he gets the full 6 months of recuperation instead of rushing back.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tracy is out for the season. Ron will be back in three games, max.

dont hate me but i think this team moves better without Tmac....with his bum knee, our offense has no fluidity and seems very lethargic. as soon as wafer came in, the ball started to move. maybe he's the weak link amongst the big three. what am i saying? he is definitely the weak link with his bum knee. i think we'll be fine without him. A healthy Tmac would be GREAT but i really dont see that happening, sorry.

stats don't lie (well most of the time)

we moved the ball well v. new orleans and tracy played 43 minutes.

we moved the ball well in the first half -> 56 points on 52% shooting. tracy only shot 6 times so apparently, others must have done well. 2nd half without tracy, we scored 44 points and our fg% went down to 45%.

yes, at times he slows down the offense (just like ron or yao) b/c he's an iso player. and his inability to move around contributes to that.

but make no mistake, if tracy plays well offensively, we benefit.

Don't waste time defending Tracy. If he plays, he plays. If he sits, he's going to sit. We just have to wait for the MRI and for whatever T-Mac/doctors have to say and go from there. If he sits for 2 months. Whatever. Just get back healthy for the playoffs and it's all good. Same goes with any player on this team.

He was playing fairly well (great for this season's standards) before the "injury" so I don't think he just straight up quit as many people are going to accuse him of, but I don't think anyone really knows so we just have to wait and see.

Mr. Mcgrady is officially a 'myth' to me.
I can never correctly predict what's gonna happen to him the in next game.
