i rather see tmac sit out rather than put forth that type of effort... it's clear he's not 100% but he' gotta produce more than what's given these past couples of games.... give others like wafer a chance to produce... i thought our 2nd unit played well to keep us in it in the 1st half
Does Adelman preach the "stand at halfcourt" offense for his SG or the "stand there and let a guy dunk on you" defensive philosophy. Cut the BS excuses for this punk. Nobody did this to McGrady.
I have been a positive fan this season and eventhough I will not go out on a lim and claim that the season is over or that there needs to be any trades done I will say tonight was embarrassing. I can take losing games but not blow outs ot a team with 8 less wins that us. I think we all need to wait and see how the Coach and Managment reacts to this via the media to go out and start bashing them. As far as the players go, here is who I am calling out. T-Mac - I have been defending this guy all season. I have been saying he should not be doing his rehab on the court. I am against this all season. Considering the guy played through the injury for a month there has to be something more to why he played the way he did today. I am not angry but puzzled. Yao Ming - This guy needs to toughen up. He never goes up strong and constantly turns the ball over because he has soft hands. He doesn't need to change his character or anything like that. Just hold the damn ball like it is your life and go up strong. Landry - 5 rebounds in the same amount of minutes as Ron Artest who plays the 3 spot. It isn't goo enough. And for the tools who were arrogantly pissing on the people who thought about the rumoured trade with the Bucks Charlie V has 9 points and a block in only 10 minutes. I'm am not saying there should have been a trade, but you tools should respect others opinions and not use one game to claim you are in the right. Anyway, Landry needs to start playing taller. He has to start cleaning up those boards. Aaron Brooks - This kid has a bright future. However, I cannot understand why there is such a dramatic difference between his best and his worst. 1.5 of three point range and only 2 shots from inside. He needs to learn that when his outside shoot is off, to ATTACK the basket. Ron Artest - I will never question his passion and attitude, however, we need more from him than to be a spot up shooter. All his points came from 3 point shoots range with no free throw attempts and 6 turnover. he alwasy plays hard, but he hasn't been playing good enough. Luther Head - 0 from 6 in 17 minutes. At least he didn't get a turnover and nearly out rebounded Landry. Brent Barry - We brought you for shooting. An upgrade to Luther Head. SO far he has been on-par with Luther Head. As for the team in general. 10/14 from the line and and 7/27 from three point range. If I were a coach, I would say there is a problem when reading that stat line. Regardless of you style as a team when the three point shot is not going in, you need ot get to the line. Get some easy points. That is Basketball 101. I will save my comments regarding Rockets managment and Adelman after there response to this game.
all chinese people, pls stop vote T-mac for all star, that's very embarrassing. to fan, to yao, to chinese, pls don't do that, embarrassing. embarrassing. embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at the beginning of the season Grady was limping every play, he hasn't limped for a couple of weeks now, the man isn't hurt he doesn't care for some personal reason
I care no more for this worthless team of lazy losers. We as fans deserve better. How can a basketball player make 20+ million and not even try or care. T-Mac is the worst cancer the Rockets have ever had, by far. I would just bench his lazy ass or try and buy him out. Too bad we lost our 1st round pick next year to get Artest who will probably be gone anyways. This is what I call a totally wasted year, and a blow to the image and reputation of the Rockets organization.
I think something is going on with this team, I have been noticing it for the past few games, tonight's game is the climax. Something is not quite right, if Tmac is playing like this and he's hurting our team, why don't you sit him? I just don't get it. Von Wafer has been playing well until he got injured and I thought he recovered awhile back yet he got zero playing time until tonight. Why do you keep on playing Head while he gives you nothing. What did Hayes do that all of his minutes are gone? Im telling you guys, something is brewing and I wish I know exactly what it is. I've been a lifelong Rocket fan going back to the Billy Paulz, Sleepy Floyd days, I have never seen a Rocket team like this, I hope it's just the TMac's ordeal that is the bottom of this, if that was the case, we cut our losses and move on, but somehow I think it's more than that. Your thoughts.......
At least with Von Wafer out there you have someone that has young legs, can shoot the 3 and drive... With Tmac right now you get pretty much nothing on offense and an ole! style of defense Im just not understanding. Landry needs to learn to do something under the basket besides gather and try to dunk. He has gotten just too predictable.
Is Adelman the one allowing those events to take place? Yes. I'm not making any excuses for McGrady. I've been stating in basically every game thread how I'd like to see Von Wafer out there in place of him. Instead Adelman starts Luther Head, who has been ice cold besides give or take 2 games this season, and he allows McGrady to do whatever he pleases on the court. Rick needs to grow a pair real quick, and make a shakeup to this rotation in order to get the ball rolling in the right direction. Just sit McGrady out completely, no BS one game in, one game out. Let Wafer and Barry take over the SG spot till McLady's period is over, and go from there.
I cut that bs off. Kicking butt with the 86 celtics on 2K9 is way more fun than cursing at the TV. I missed the announcers call out T-Mac though. What did they say?
No, all people in the world should vote for TMac. He wants to play so we let him play a "standing" game in the All-Star game.
