we still have plenty of talent to beat a terrible and soft raptors team the fact that we are losing our identity is what scaring me. this is arguably the softest team in the L.
We have no scoring off the bench. PLAY JERMAINE TAYLOR! Taylor has more heart than Courtney Lee and Chase. Jermaine could be our Shannon Brown if he received minutes. Chase and Lee have sucked all year. Hayes, Hill and Jefferies can't score. We have no pure bench scorers since we traded Landry. PLAY JERMAINE TAYLOR!
I have no idea what's going on with the pick and roll defense. At some point we actually had a switch. Other times the big man just grabs onto the pick and the guard gets to the rim uncontested. Have to agree that Adelman didn't look good in this one. Should've called TO way earlier in the 2nd quarter but instead let the raptors start running away with it. Then inexplicably played the starters the entire second half. I know the bench played badly in the second, but cmon, what does it say to your bench players that you wont give them a shot. Wtf is going on? And a rotation needs to be set. Last season the bench knew their role and knew the minutes they would play. This year everyone's minutes have been all over the place. I can only hope that the team starts playing better when guys come back and the rotation gets set, because we're going nowhere playing like this. Finally there was one play that really just epitomized how the team's been playing this season. Late in the third Chuck had the ball on the low post. Martin was wide open for a 3. Instead Chuck went for it himself, took a tough contested shot that missed, and then fouled when the Raptors were in the penalty. Selfish. Out of sync. Stupid decisions.
Landry is way better than martin when it comes to 4th qtr scoring. we would prolly still suck, but we wouldnt lose to craptors either
If the bench isn't getting it done, then change it up. Play JT instead of Budinger who was sucking big time, or play Jeffries. But don't just not play any bench players at all. You can't have the starters playing too many minutes and expect them to have any gas in the tank at the end of the 4th quarter.
Uhh I'm pretty sure i've seen him enough to know that he misses point blank lay-ups, and flops to get charges. He's not coordinate, so thus he rides the pine.
I find myself drifting away watching something else during the game because I can't stand to see another game gacked up in the 4th. The team is just horribly mediocre.

I will be surprised if Hill is not in Rick's dog house. He defied the system. Did you all see he pass up wide open Bud in one play and end up being called traveling.
This team will suck and won't move forward until we have Hayes and Battier playing that many minutes. This coach refuses to try with new players and stay with players that are mediocre at best. Even people in this site is enamored with Hayes and don't realize that whatever good defense he plays, the team gets completely messed up in the offensive side. Time to move on and see if the new players learn something while Yao and Brooks come back from injury.
What? I thought we had the "best bench" in basketball, the "deepest team" in the NBA? Oh, so you mean everyone on this board (especially me) was totally wrong? I see. But let's not knee-jerk, either, eh? Tonight's loss was without Yao and AB, two of our supposed studs. Let's keep praying Yao blows out his knee (a new, mysterious injury would be sweet right now; that poor foot has suffered enough) and Les/Morey are finally forced to shift this team's focus.
