Spot on all counts. We got lit up by guys like Kleiza and Bargnani due to poor defense.

We had turnovers at inopportune times. When we weren't getting calls Miller was a wreck, mentally. Bud sucked. Lowry played hard but continued to make mistakes. Martin was off and on. Etc...

We made a run to go up at the end of the 3rd but basically sat down and watched them win in the 4th.

Instead of David Andersen being our "poor man's Brad Miller", we now have:
Brad Miller as our "older / slower / more expensive David Andersen".

Many of us called that one when we signed the aging, slow, one dimensional 7' jump shooter. $5M this year, $5M next year, and up to $5M in '12-'13...argh.

Adelman came out of retirement with the assumption that T-Mac and Yao would provide him the best chance at winning a ring. I don't think he expected that in just three years we would be a mediocre team with a slim chance at making the playoffs. He might just jump ship.

Brad Miller improves the offense, not just score points. He's also better defensively, surely not better rebounder, but tougher and more experienced. Yes, DA was worst on D.

Just came back from ACC. Impression:

    1. Our so-called young assets are so overrated. Raptors' young players are much better.
    2. The most impressive rockets player is Battier. He not only played very hard on the court, but came back the 1st to practice shooting during halftime. Very professional!
    3. Rockets players are really not that talented. They are a bad team now.

RA needs to go. He's just dragging this team down. Hell I could probably do a better job at managing rotations instead of him. LOL 3-9 and still no sign of Patrick Patterson. And Jordan Hill still glued to the bench.

Tonight's loss was not the players, fault to me I blame Adleman!

His substitution pattern sucked!!! You play Lowry and Martin 40 mins!!!!
Martin Is not a Go to Guy and to many turn overs! Lowry can start but with out scorers around him, his limitations begin to hurt the team.

On a team were nobody has stepped up to be the bench scoring punch you
bring in Budinger for 14 mins and you see he is struggling 0-6 tonight. C. Lee
1-3 tonight in 7.6 minutes and last game 1-6 in 22 minutes. You have Jefferies and JT over there rotting on the bench while the people playing are stinking up the gym.

The other night JT went 4-8 and scored eight points in 21 mins. Seems like you would want to build some confidence in a player who in spot duty is playing better than the guys in front of him.

In a season like this no one should feel comfortable with there play. If you can't produce then on to the next one.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aldeman could work out a buyout of his remaining contract. He looks like had enough. Players not responding. Sometimes a change is needed when things are going bad.

You can't get around the fact that the bench is getting creamed every game. That tells me we need some simple adjustments. You've got to break up the big man combinations and at least consider alternating the SF position. What I mean is logically Hayes needs to go back into the starting unit with Scola leaving Miller to play with the bench, playing out high with Hill down low, and we need to consider bringing Shane off the bench and starting Budinger. Yeah, Budinger sucks right now. But we all know he can shoot it. He needs his confidence back. And Battier isn't exactly stopping anybody out there. He made Sonny Weems look like Eric Gordon tonight. Not to mention Kleiza. The Budinger Lee subs at the wings has led to run after run after run by our opponents. In my opinion, the trifecta that needs to be busted up the worst is Lee, Budinger, Hill. That is the key combo that is not working together.

    I agree.

The starters can't carry the team for 40 min. That means even if our bench is stinking it up now, play them until they get their confidence back. The way they are being yanked in and out, without any consistent minutes. they won't want to take any risks out there and make mistakes. As a result, no contributions at all.

Rick, how can you be a 900-win coach and not know what your team needs??? How can they be underachieving so badly on your watch?

Man I been saying since game 4 and on...Harrison Barnes...

When you lose to the Raps...even without Brooks and Yao, you still have Scola and Martin...

This team needs a top 3 pick next year.

This teams claim to contention was hoping for yao, signing brad miller, and trading ariza for lee. I dont know, but i cant say i thought they would be this bad except defensively. They got slower on the front line and its rolling downhill.

And they lost their only catalyst in Aaron Brooks.

The one guy they could not afford to lose.

They could lose any other guy and cover for them with others with similar skillsets.

Brooks skillset is unique to this team, and not able to be covered by anyone else.

At least we got a shot at the #1 pick in the draft... unless we're too bad at being bad.

Two bads equal mediocre, which the current roster is, ya feel me?

Morey said this week on Sportsradio 610 that there are no trades forthcoming until next year. This is now in the hands of the coaches. It is up to them. Realistically he's right. There is NO magic trade out there that can transform this team into a contender. It is what it is and what it has been now for the past decade. Blaming Adelman because he won't play marginal players like Hill is not the answer. Nobody in this organization knows that answer and that includes Morey himself. You just have to accept that and wait to see how things shake out at the end of the year. Who knows? Yao Ming may actually be back playing by then...
