And The Award for Bone-Headed Plays of the Night Goes To................... SHANE BATTIER and AARON BROOKS!!
Don't blame the refs. Rip was getting screwed in the 3rd quarter. we lost because of bone-headed plays and not making critical shots
I mean a lot were bad but one was just plain stupid bball IQ. We were up 4 with 50 seconds left and he shoots a long contested 2 with over 10 seconds still on the shot clock. Why? how is that ever a good shot? Surely at NBA level you gotta know that!
**** the refs...ab's 3 point shot that right there cost us! we couldve got a better shot in the paint n forced a double ot...
Adelman coaches like he is dead scared of giving his best players a rest. He thinks short term rather than long term during a game and in the end it catches up with him.
Regardless of the bad call in overtime, the game should have been finished off in regulation. With a large lead in the game, brooks man consistently beat him off the dribble, which led to four free throws and a break out dunk for prince. If anything he hunted for his shot a little too much in the end and launched, i believe, 3-4 treys with less than 6 minutes to go in regulation. Don't get me wrong, he can score at will most times, but at the end of games, its mainly about control under duress...which is something that he lacks. and defense. Too often do I see him get torched. Will Bynum got so many assists simply because he could not stay in front of him which forced help and bynum would simply keep finding the other guy
If this team played 83 games down by 1 with 20 seconds left..i seriously doubt they could hit the gamewinning shot in any of them.
