Yao is just not strong enough in upper body to being able to dunk it while being hacked. So stop dreaming and whining. Live with it.

The coaching on the other hand...

I am sorry but team is not a contender, not because the team choked and could not score for such a long stretch, but becuase this team JUST COULD NOT PLAY DEFENSE down the stretch, all we needed was one stop and a basket.

This loss is unacceptable, FIRE coach RA!!!!!!!!!

Rick Adelman sucks!!! Again, he took Yao out sat home after Murphy knocked down two 3s against Yao. You DON'T EVER take your superstar out even though it's a mismatch!! First of all, sure it's a mismatch but on the other hand, Troy Murphy couldn't guard Yao. By taking Yao out, it's a losing mentality...it sends a message to the Rockets and the Pacers that Troy Murphy is winning the battle against Yao. YOU DON'T ever EVER give your opponent ANY mental edge....Rick Adelman is a disgrace when it comes to substitution and i said it many time...he's NOT a good substitution strategy coach. God damm he literally SAT YAO on the bench and then 1 min later he realize...wait a minute....i had to have Yao in there....wtf?? This is the stupid coaching strategy ever. Do you think Murphy is going to continue knock down those shots?? C'mon. If so...why doesn't every single team in the NBA do the same...why not the Dallas play Dirk as the Center!! Are you going to take Yao out the entire game...dumb shyt! And there is no reason to sit Yao in one of the stretch when Yao had been out the entire quarter and rested. Why play him only 6 mins after having rest the entire quarter with cut to the eyes?? This is another example of why i said this coach don't have the killing mentality!! He likes to play around and tingle with players when they're up by 10...i seen the same shyt happened in LA before.

Second of all, why is the team not even give Yao a chance to set up the post. They're like passing around like they're rushing through thing. This loss is the lowest of the lowest....because the Pacers aren't a good team! This loss really hurt.....because now the Pacers are feeling like they can beat us.

so i hate DH12, but even i have to praise him tonight because yao just played horrible...

it's such a discouraging loss, losses like this really puts rockets' ability to win a championship in question. :(

Thought I was watching Rudy Ball in the 4th quarter, why the hell are we letting Artest go ISO and take all the shots in the last 2 minutes, I hand this loss to Adeleman, once Yao took the shot to the eye, he got gunshy around contact. Don't know how many times we gonna let them get open 3's at the top of the key. It's just one loss though, ain't nothing to start worrying about. If yall seriously think we aren't contenders then yall must be stupid when it comes to basketball. I hate how we play sorry teams and play good teams good, plus we continue to suck at home, watching the game and hearing the crowd on TV was weak, they only got loud for the last 15 secs, guess we gotta have a 22 game win streak so the bandwagon fans can come out of the woodwork again. Keep the faith, its only november clutchfans.

Why can’t we finish off weak teams!!!! And people wonder why we don’t get respect from the media.

    Agree.
Both of Yao's defenders were in the semi circle under the basket, an automatic foul. They shouldnt have been able to stop Yao's dunk unless both of them grabbed an arm and hung on, which would have undeniably been a foul. I believe he is learning, but still has a way to go. Sometimes the heart of a champion has to be ice cold in order to experience the glory.

the surprising part was that we were leading the majority of the game and shooting that poorly.. aside from battier (because this is his first game back), we don't really have a consistent perimeter shooter in the starting lineup

I want to say something.. but I just don't know what to say. This team is a ***** team when it comes to playing the crappier team, and a great team when it comes to playing a good team. Thats all.

It's Adelmen, when JVG was here we had a 'never say die' attitude with inferior talent. We would never give up.
Adelmen waits way too long to make adjustments, and believes players can shoot themselves out of slumps.
