So the Rockets didn't learn anything from San Antonio. Sad but true.

It is so frustrating because it was our win, pretty easy win. And it is not like Pacers played so well, it was Rockets sucking SO BADLY. I am Rockets fan but I have to say this - WE DESERVED IT. I mean we deserved that lose. You just need to learn from your mistakes, we didn't do that.

Contenders? Losing 10 point lead in less than 8 minutes is just unbelivable. Only the worst teams can do that, tonight we just showed how bad we can be,once again.

Very sad. It shows this team is still not as good as expected without T-Mac. It still shows you we need this guy. He is the guy you wanna take shots down the stretch. He is your main guy you wanna give the ball to. But the good thing is, maybe it will change T-Mac's mind. He saw he is NEEDED even now.

This one is on Artest. This guy is HORRIBLE being 1st or even 2nd optionon offense. He can't dribble, and what i hate is that he is FORCING shots. 21 attempts? And made only 6? Gotta be kidding...

That only means, more shots for T-Mac and Yao. Sometimes we may post Artest and give him the 3 when is is open. But right now 15 shots is too many for him. He is a great offensivle player, but forcing shots ain't gonna get it done...

But we deserved it. I understand Yao is not Shaq or Amare, but when you catch the ball inside and you are 7'6 than DUNK IT. I am tired of those soft layups which haven't been going in so far. Stop being soft... Maybe this time we will take that lesson.

Too bad we play Denver and Spurs but at least we will have Tracy (hopefully). We can beat anybody in this leauge, but first we gotta play as good as we can...

exactly why all the tmac haters need to stfu.
tracy may not always drop as many points
as you want him to drop. but he always makes
the offense flow and this would have been a win
if he played. its all good though. the pacers just
took advantage of his absence. theyre a really
good team. very physical. the rockets just need
    to regroup.

they deserve this one for this game at least.. I am in Houston for the holidays and expected better. What a waste of a monster game from Scola... but I guess if they weren't brickin it so much Luis wouldn't have had the rebounds he did.

Why wasn't TMac at the game? How can an alleged team leader not sit on the bench and cheer on his teamates?

Anyone else bothered by him skipping out on the games? Yao was there when he was out, why can't Tmac make it?

He didn't want everyone to see him have a good laugh. He must have been rolling on the floor laughing at that last drive in by Artest. Probably telling himself "Scream man".

why did not one poster note that its the entering of luther head at the final minute of the 3rd quarter is the starting of the demise of the rox lead.

And what the heck is rafer doing? Shooting and driving, and keep on missing..... This is the 4th or 5th game in a row where he made more attempt than 1 of the big 3.

And why pull scola out of the game when he is hot?

As well as, artest shooting? Come on, if you want to let ron score, get him to post up on the low post.

hey I have everything but to agree with...jef who... sadly I dont wanna start anything but im sorry you WRONG. This team has gone threw again. Another set back. But & all WE NEED A FULL UNIT! Once we have t- mac then I do expect these ( sad:but true rumors) about our team. Just not as cruel. Cuz you know that the next game against the spurs. There wont be any reason they'll lose :(

We'll be ok, the last 4 years we started the season at least 6-11 or worse and we're doing a lot better even with a hobbling T-Mac.

I told everyone, all you have to do is front Yao and he's done. RA and his staff are drawing a blank on how to get this resolved. All you have to do is have Yao come out and set a pick, which opens up the post for him.

I just watched the highlights, Artest drove the lane, which caused 2 defenders to cover him and he dropped it off to our 7'6" Big Liability who some unknown reason refuses to go up strong and dunk it to end the game. The dude shot a layup, which went over the rim.

Yao needs to see the wizard for some courage and a heart. Also, everyone played horribly including Rafer and Brooks who went for a combinded 5 - 19.

As they say on ESPN - Come On Man.

I have always disagreed with RA's coaching methods, as far as substitutions and in-game decisions are concerned. However, to let arguably your worst shooter in Rafer Alston hoist up 14 shots, as much as pretty much your best shooter (percentage wise) in Yao is ridiculous.

This guy took 14 SHOTS and only came away with 9 FREAKING POINTS... that is just crazy your a starting PG in the NBA! If you can not shoot stop f-in shooting the ball ... you suck.

I have finally come to the realization that we need to trade Alston even if it means trading Scola/Landry. We need to stop giving Rafer a free pass just because he is better at setting up an offense then Brooks.

I think trading Rafer will get the job done, if we can get a PG that can create and shoot we will mos def. be set as a championship contender. Everyone here has been blaming the stars on the team in Yao/Mcgrady/Artest. Even though they have not been great I think it is our lack of playmaking and shooting at the PG position that is killing the team more then anything right now.

Plus it's not like Rafer had an off-night. This has been consisted for the entire time he has been in a Rockets uniform. To take 14 shots and only come away with 9 lousy points is just astonishing considering he is a starting PG in the NBA.

Please get rid of Rafer and you will see this team rise.

O yea one more thing ... Rafer sucks.

    The game was close.

If you look at it plain and simple, Yao made HORRENDOUS mistakes down the final stretch. Yao was the reason for losing the game. I'm not even hating on the guy, but the video shows it all. Bad decision after bad decision.

Too bad for Scola, though. What a great effort.

Yao CANNOT turn the ball over like that, or act like Troy Murphy is Chris Dudley. Yao's played in the league long enough to have a general understanding of who players are and what their basic abilities are.

Tonight he showed a lack of judgment and, I guess, intelligence.

    I went to bed disgusted.

    It's the holidays.

He will also be missing games from December 23rd - January 1st, including the Jazz game on the 27th.
