Removing the swap from the equation, we gave up Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry, and Joey Dorsey for Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, and a 2012 first round pick. Still a good trade.
since jordan hill hasn't panned out really well, calling it "good" now looks not so self evident here.... if jordan hill can play like a decent center, then you can call it good. sigh, we just can't get a break...
the only reason he would have even gotten the 2012 pick was that he would have argued that chances are the swap wouldn't be exercised.
