Well Tmacs situation is not unlike Arizas. Ariza also clearly needs some on court time and experience to get better, but if the team wants to win, it is best if he doesn't play with the complete green light that Adelman has given him. Ariza doing his best Ron Artest impression out there doesn't exactly help the team get wins either, but Adelman lets it slide. The main difference is of course, that we know Mcgrady will regain his offensive skills and that we don't know how much Ariza's will improve. But I thinks its safe to say that for this year at least, Ariza wont even be close to the offensive player that we can reasonably expect Tracy to be.
Ok, I just figured how to post these pics. It was my first time with amazing seats. Highlights were (1) watching how tight out teams seems to be. they genuinely had a good energy about them, and it was awesome to be so close. (2) after chuck scored two of our first four hoops, when he sat down, I yelled "chuck hayes, offensive machine" and he turned around and gave a big fist pump. awesome. (3) carl landry turned around and pointed at me when i yelled he was "6th man of the year". (4) there was a guy heckling ariza, who had a bad night, and a nugget fan who was sitting closer leaned over and said, "don't worry trevor, he won't be here next time". pretty cool. (5) tmac looked into the game and part of the team, which was exciting. i didn't notice any drama, and i'm excited tmac is back. (6) saw worrell in the washroom, and when he was washing his hands i said "we need more shots for chuck hayes (since he had got us off to a good start". worrell laughed and said we need less of chuck hayes shooting (with a smile). iwas sorry i bothered him in the washroom, at least i waited until he was at the sink. and all i can say is these guys are big and fast. in no way with hayes, landry and scola would anyone say we couldn't hold our own. these guys are stout and tough. fun to see them play up close. for all the contact they were surely picking on landry. and also it looked like AB was getting beat up on the offensive end. it was a hard game to get into because the refs were kinda onesided for something like 7 possessions in a row, or so it seemed from my angle. go rox.
