i know right. during some games, when we are down in the 4th quarter, i see adelman just chilling on the bench with know worries like he just doesn't care anymore. I think Adelman's attitude is carrying over to this team. he has no intensity and neither does this team on the court right now on the defensive end. we don't do squat in the second half of games and adelman just sits there. it's just disgusting. I'm curious, what in the hell is rick telling these guys to do?

Simple. This lineup is not good.

    Yao
    Scola
    Battier
    Martin
    Brooks

Has to change. Either that or the substitution pattern. Cant have Battier, Brooks, and Martin playing together. Battier is no longer a defensive genius who can cover up the other guys mistakes. He scored two points tonight. He has relatively zero stats for a starter. So either its Brooks or Battier who has to be removed from this starting rotation and closing rotation.

What a dumbass? My Argentinian Hero? I'm not from Argentina clown. Scola's OFFENSE is what was keeping this team infront in the second quarter and on par in the 3rd. They went away from him and the bricks followed. Plus Yao's interior defense was just as bad.

I am sick with people trying out to reason or smooth things out every game saying so and so because of na na na situation.

    Instead read my earlier post.

Instead why not improve or correct the mistakes.
We need to play some D.

i swear yal are the lamest fans ever. all yal do is complain about everything. wants something starts to go wrong yal start trying to find someone to blame. battier was never good so stop saying hes declining. in my opinion ra was never a good coach. brooks is better than lowry and will always start so stop hoping lowry will. lowry went 0 - 7 so calm down its 3 games.

well harrington is a pretty good and versatile player so you can't really say he's a scrub. he did average about 17 points last year and was getting some consideration for the sixth man award. the dude can ball. i was actually rooting for the rockets to get him in the trade with t-mac last year until we got k-mart

It doesnt have to be Battier out of the lineup. The lineup could look like this to start and end games.

    Yao
    Scola
    Battier
    Martin
    Lowry

Then insert whoever is hot into the fourth quarter to finish the game for Lowry and Shanes position.

Very dissappointing start to the season. The last two games of pre-season and the first three games of regular season are the same story ... poor defense especially in crunch time. Good teams know how to clamp down at the end of the games. No lead is safe with team right now. If they can't figure out how to close out games against good teams this is going to be a long, and painful season.

I'm blaming Brooks for an incredibly stupid decision at a critical point of the game, not for the overall game. I think it was a turning point, possibly the turning point, but it should never have come down to that. And yes, I'm hot because of the way the game ended. That play was a big part of the way it ended, in my opinion. Yeah, I freely admit to being pissed off. Seriously considering blasting hundreds of Zerg to bits.

1 more thing is it brooks fault that al harrington scored 29 points i think? i dont see why every loss is his fault. yal are so dumb. it takes a team to play defence and defence is the main reason we are losing

Yeah, insert Kyle 0-7 Lowry into the starting lineup.

You can't play Battier, Hayes and Lowry together, and when 2 of them are on the floor you are playing 3 on 5.....Kyle has to play and Shane should start for now....but Hayes......should NEVER see the floor unless he is in a situational substitution and you should avoid having Kyle and Shane on the floor at the same time....disaster waiting to happen.

Lets not forget about the panicky Brooks dribbling the ball on his shoe last game....he plays for the NBA and still did that during crunch time.

Brooks isn't the only guy who did badly, but he made some very bad decisions. He started off by running into the Denver defense, with no where to go. Even our commentators, pointed that out. I don't see a single big who can guard other bigs right now.

The Zerg deserve it, but the Rockets problems lie squarely on the rotation, a lack of identity, the coaches playing folks they are comfortable with, and the team not gelling.

There is time to fix it, but I am not sure there is good enough leadership in the Rockets organization to fix it.

Here's another perspective- Brooks is one dimensional. He offers nothing if his shot is off.
