Surprised no one has brought up the fact that Kevin Martin was wearing his practice shorts the first few minutes of the game.

Observations from the game, now that I'm fully awake.

Chase was open many times in the corner in the second half, and Aaron Brooks did not pass to him. Not sure if that's a court vision problem, or I'm just ready to chuck some up.

Chuck is overwhelmed at the 5,but Battier is really doing poorly on D. The rest of them are making things worse on the defensive end. The team looks for defensive direction from Shane and Chuck. When they struggle, everyone else gets deflated. All of the players need to take pride and work hard as a unit on defense.

I do not like blaming anyone for the bad thing that happened in this game but i do blame Kevin Martin for jacking up a three with 4 minutes left.

Oh, and Yao had barely been inserted into the game of course for a reason and that is to run set plays for him.

I love the Rockets but once again they need to know that when Yao is in the game its to run the offense through him and not to shoot threes off screens.

What ever happened to playing inside out, i think that is are best offense right now.

No need to panic its only three games into the season will find a way to turn this around.

I love Chuck Hayes but i am tired of watching him miss layups.

Rick needs to find the right situation for him and inserting him when the team is down a bucket is not the right time. At that point we need offense not defense and chuck does not provide that.

Anyone else tired of watching the Hayes Miller combo they are just terrible on offense and can rebound worth jack.

Our combinations are not working and i can only hope things change.
