Blaming the refs, back to back and playing away from home are excuses that has been replayed like a broken record. Just not good enough.

I understand what you mean. But the NBA championship is like the world championship of club basketball.

Ron Artest has gotten it pretty easy on this board. Everything is Yao this, Mcgrady that. His basketball IQ and poor finishes around the basket have been a big disappointment. Bonzi showed better basketball IQ and Battier in two games has shown to be a better finisher in the post.

It's one thing to have a winning record, it's another thing to be a great consistent team. We are good, but we are so inconsistent. Our past few games (especially the last 2 against SAS and DEN) prove this.

I love JVG, but what's up with the hate on Adelman?

I don't like comparing coaches just by the Ws.

So let's each respective team's strength.

JVG's team had Yao and Tmac in their prime, esp Tmac.
Adelman's team has younger talents, esp much better PFs.

Looks like they build the teams to their likings.

JVG is a good coach, so is Adleman.

JVG didn't get past the first round with the Rockets, so did Adelman.
Under JVG we had a ton of sinkers, so did we under Adelman.
We were a good defensive team under JVG, and we might very be a better defensive team under Adelman from last year's showing.

Bottom line I don't quit a coach who brought us 22 win streak that easily, esp he really never had a team with full strength so far.

Everything has been said about tonights game, hehe.

    On with the tangents:
Let's see those euro national teams win with NBA rules (hand checking, defenses, 3pt line, etc) and NBA refs (lmao, Wade will get like 40 FT's by himself).

    Nuggets - Melo > Rockets - Tmac - Battier

    Is it surprised?

Rockets are a playoff team, but not a contender yet!

    Low your expectation!

the rox should figure out play within a system whatever the combination is on the floor. Passing, passing, passing, open shot, rebound....

we should take out the fans part to clutchfans...the way people talk on this site when the rockets loose is sad...rockets sucked tonight...doesn't mean we should trade the whole **** squad...same team beat SA.

Too much Yao bashing for the loss tonight. He did not play too bad, imo, althoug somewhat soft (he is what what he is). We lost this game because Ron Artest played very bad and out of control. I have been really surprised that Artest can't not score at all inside on a consistent basis. How come he has been called a big start, if he can't score inside. It can't be so just because he is a great defender.

If Batter has been in the game tonight, we would have won this game.

When battier and Tracy are back, we really need to bench Artest. I can't remember him having a par game with the rockets thus far. This will bring back the chemistry, give Artest time to blend and our bench would be solid. Artest/Brooks/Landry/Hayes/Wafer. Oh yeah, and pump some steroids into yao....that should do the trick.

Tough game tonight, but IMO Adelman should not have put Yao back into the game in the 4th. Atleast not then.

The young guys were carrying the team back, got us with in 5pts or so IIRC....then Yao came in, he clogged up the paint and the offense was SLOW and STAGNANT. Why change it in the middle of the run?

no dude, we should take out the clutch in clutchfans. We are all fans here, hence that is why we are here. But it just gets frustrating seeing your team playing like school girls night after night.

If there is any team that needs the top pick in next year's draft,it's the Houston Rockets.

    Very disappointing loss :(

But I'll be happy with a 13-7 record after 20 games....with a struggling Artest, Yao/ T-mac who was playing on one leg and has missed games, as well as not having Battier for 19 games.

So I'll be ecstatic if we win our next 2 games.
