I thought the same thing. I am curious what the rule is.

Too much stat sheet looking for you. Technical foul!

Mavs have some good perimeter shooters. The rockets had to put a good perimeter defender on the floor. If Martin & Brooks were on the floor at the same time, Battier had to be on the floor too. We all saw that CBud was too good, and Battier was too bad tonight. Obviously, the coaches thought that the difference between Martin and Lee was smaller than the difference between CBud and Battier.

Jeffries may have missed some shots, but at least he played decent defense on Dirk, versus Scola's matador defense.

I see your point, but I still maintain that you need your best player on the floor at the end of a close game. I just hope they don't try that in the regular season.

Lets try average. Don't judge people because of their nationality.

I know it's preseason, but we were notorious for 4th quarter collapses last season, and it's worrisome to have two in a row right before our first game.

The biggest ERROR of the night was Lee shooting the ball......once Kidd had the near steal the shot clock reset, there was NO need to shoot it...let them foul....

Either way, it was no big deal, they needed a miracle to beat us in Dallas.

The Rockets are better than both the Spurs and the Mavs and that is good news.

Did it, because they didn't show a shot clock on the TV, if they didn't reset it, then I take all of that back.....

When Yao sits sure, but Yao and Miller played and Hill still got 12 minutes. So I'm just wondering if Miller and Hill are splitting backup center duties even when Yao plays.

BTW Hill and Yao looked fantastic playing together, with Budinger as the sharp shooter and ish Smith as playmaker.

Hill and Jeffries together, OTOH, not so good. Great on defense but a black hole on offense.

Miller looked like he wasn't in game shape yet and the back-to-back was getting to him.

I don't think the rockets would beat the spurs in the 7-games playoff series. The spurs would dominate rebounds.

That is where I was confused. The clock wasn't on the TV but the buzzer did go off.

lol funny thing is i usually dont really care for the results of per season games as long as their getting back in shape and getting used to the players and plays...but this lost hurts, seriously wtf? Lee from hero to ....... (fill in the blank)

Brad Miller still needs to get in shape the way he moves is comical.
