exactly. but antisonic, you gotta admit those last 2 3s were necessary b/c we were way down trying to come back.

tracy did make an effort to post up. and that's what he has to do.

his jumper is not consistent right now. but his post up is still unstoppable. jkidd is still a great defender and tmac toyed with him down there.

hopefully he'll watch tonight's tape and see how great his post up game is. just park himself down there and be a perimeter yao ming.

Yeah, that situation is called the playoffs. We will either face Deron Williams, Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker, Steve Nash, Chris Paul or Jason Kidd in the first round. W/out Rafer (or trading for another floor general) we will not win. Aaron Brooks is a solid shoot first bench production guard -- not somebody that can lead us past any of the players listed in a 7 game series.

i didn't get to see it, but kept track via radio and yahoo gamechannel. i still like how we're getting to the free throw line and making them. we're still getting our chemistry but still our fg% is way off. i think we need more movement while we're running pick and rolls to get better % shots. go rox

indeed.. a bridge months away.. while currently we have this mountain of an on-court identity crisis.. and offensive erraticism.. which if we allow to just progress(in terms of a disease) as is.. sticking to past conventions.. no matter how currently inconventional the team structure and situation is.. we won't have to worry about that distant bridge.. as we'll still be stuck on this blasted mountain..

let us see how Brooks does against Deron, Steve Nash, Billups, and Parker before we consider him too inept to consider replace our very so indispensable Alston.. he did pretty good against Chris Paul.. however much you'd rather discredit him.. he's not going to keep a Chris Paul to his production in the last game.. for every matchup.. but aslong as his defense isn't any worse than Alston's 3pt shooting.. there really is nothing that Brooks doesn't have that Alston does.. that makes Alston all that much more viable the option.. other than his height.. and is that enough the reason for you to want us to stick to the same rotations that has kept us in this mess of a dismal display of an offense..?

alston gets us into our sets quicker..? our predictable half court sets.. sure.. screens and pick and rolls.. unfortunately that has crippling results when you have this much talent on the floor.. Alston has been out there the majority of these 12 games.. and I have yet to see the team have a damn clue as to what they're going to do on the offensive end..

only time i saw this team actually execute and stick to any semblance of a motion offense.. was the first two quarters of the NO game.. one of the games Alston missed.. and Brooks started it.. and with decent reason.. because Brooks gives us something that Alston can't.. that is essential in an offensive philosophy that relies on real time reaction and reads... unpredictability..

I know we played terrible tonight, but we missed 9 free throws ,if we had made those free throws, the outcome of this game could be completely different.

Well, hope we can sweep the coming road-trip.Go Rockets!

We lost tonight's games vs. Mavs. No, it's not us but the rockets lost the game. The rockets lost to their old rival who has long been devastating them in recent years. We shouldn't attribute the lose to yao's absence (it wouldn't be quite different even if he was not absent.), never to mention the fact that J Howard was also sidelined on Mav's side. It's even worse that they lost the game at their nest called Toyota center.

If Artest made all his free throws and made those easy looking layups perhaps we would have taken a win.

im really frustrated with people who say MOVEMENT THIS, MOVEMENT THAT.

did dallas have a lot of movement when they shot lights out today? no, they had a lot of isos and DRIBBLE PENETRATION.

do the lakers have a lot of movement? NO, they have a lot of kobe isos and dribble penetration.

do the celtics have a lot of movement? NO, they have a lot of kg and pierce isos and dribble penetration

do the pistons, cavs, or other great teams have a lot of movement? NO

we're not the kings, get over it.

the reason we are struggling is b/c our stars are now struggling -> they are not dominating their positions, from yao to tmac to artest. that's why they're called isos and they're not doing a great job of dominating.

secondly, we don't have a lto of dribble penetration. this is mostly attributed to tracy's knee. he remains our best penetrator and if he can't do it, nobody else but brooks.

that's why our offense sucks right now. our main guys are not dominating their position. and tracy is not healthy enough to penetrate consistently right now.

it's not movement... those things are vastly overrated. when we scored a lot v. the mavs, it wasn't movement. it was yao and artest dominating. when we scored a lot v. the suns, it wasn't movement. it was tracy dominating.

i don't get where adelman and these guys get with "movement" and making the game easier. when i watch the best teams in the L, i don't see a lot of that. but, i see stars dominating their position and teams doing a lot of dribble penetration and putting pressure on the defense.

when our stars are healthy, we'll get that. and we'll be fine.

MOVEMENT? yea, we've been speaking of it since adelman has been here. we still don't see it.

just get our guys healthy. allow them to dominate. and start putting pressure on the D

I am going to repeat a few things, that have been obvious from the start of the season and some that were obvious tonight.

T-Mac is obviously playing injured. So fans need to get off of his back and cut him for slack for getting out there is obvious pain. This is why his jump shoot is struggling and is playing poorly defensivly. He just cannot go.

We also missed Yao huge. Whether he is a good defender or not, his pure size is enough to make opposition players think twice about driving to the bucket.
Landry is not as good as most of the posters here say he is. He is struggling on the boards and not effective offensivly. If I had to choose between Hayes and Landry, at the moment I would take Hayes. He just shows more hustle than Landry.

We have all these problems yet we are still 7 and 5. So what does this tell you? We have 70 games left in the season and have plenty of room for improvment.

Barry sucks, he can't shoot any 3 points,

    Barry is no use.

    wafer is more reliable.
