I absolutely agree with you and everyone else that has mentioned T-Mac in the post area. He should play the high and low post areas more because he can be deadly from these areas. Also, T-Mac is shooting his free-throws much better this year, so this should increase his confidence on attacking the basket.

i doubt that. t-mac played a lot better than expected. head would just cause more turnovers and take more jacked up shots than him.

The biggest reason we lost this game is we were outrebounded & outsized by the Marvs  That is a huge disvantage to the Rox down the stretch. We must shut down our opponent both offensively and defensively for a win.

Does anyone know of the audience numbers for this game?

It feels like the NBA popularity is waning.

Landry, Brooks, Wafer, Barry off the bench? Barry can't make shot, Landry and Brooks are in their second year, and Wafer is a rookie. This is really hard to understand. I didn't see any chance for us to win through the game. Why not give Steve some minutes if he is health?

Agree on barry sitting the bench, but i seeing barry instead of head, is always a good thing.

I pick the lesser of the 2 devil.

i understand what you mean and i would not blame t-mac for that it's just that tonight, he was more effective down at the post. also another reason why he's making a lot of long shots in previous games is cuz yao was doing most of the post up game and he was basically clogging up that area. but i totally agree with you

the horrible 3rd quarter did it in for us. no energy after the half, no offense (just clanking jumpers), and interior defense was like swiss cheese thanks to yao's mia.

Have YOU ever watched the games??? We did learn how to survive against bad teams last year w/out Tracy. However, what is our overall record w/out T-mac playing?

man i wish rafer played this way on a consistent basis... 6-13 shootin 16pts 8ast 0 turnovers and apparently Ron needs to work on his free throws and layups..

Rockets flat out sucked tonight. Fortunately, everyone else in our division sucked too. Dallas sucked tonight too, just weren't as sucky as we were.

Far too early to say that. If we play Utah again in the playoffs w/ no Rafer we lose AGAIN. Aaron is too small/weak to defend Deron Williams and Billups. Chris Paul had an off night... even Luther Head looked like he could defend CP3 that night.

this is how bad we're playing. the luther head fans are coming out. newsflash to luther head fans: he's not a NBA quality player!!! name one contender he would play on? exactly, NONE.

do you guys think tmac is a liability at half speed? the reason i bring this up is because he's moving very slow and our rotations on defense are very slow due to his lack of speed. he still occasionally has his moments of greatness but they're not consistent.

    this team lacks intensity!

We didn't have Yao, Tmac and Artest are both hurt pretty bad, and we shot 2-17 in the 3rd quarter....this game should've been a blowout.

Either our defense is picking up or the Mavs are just not contenders anymore. I'm leaning towards the idea of the Mavs no longer being contenders.

I really think Artest and Tmac should sit out a few games. If not now, then atleast when Battier comes back. With Yao in the middle, we always have somewhere to go that will most likely get us points, an open shot, or free throws.

Aaron Brooks can do more with Yao out there, Scola and Landry get wide open shots and layups because of Yao.

I think we can manage losing a few games right now. San Antonio and New Orleans are both struggling. If it costs us a big early lead in the division, then so be it, but I'd rather not have a top 4 seed, but be healtyh by the Playoffs, instead of having any of our big 3 being limited while having a top 4 seed. You saw what happened with HCA, but no Yao, Rafer, and a hurt Battier...

From the view of broadcasting, I noticed the same thing. With amounts of seats empty in front rows, what's going on with our fans? season tix holders just didn't show up by the court?

Nobody's intended for the game any more or what ? At the very least I would like to stick to NBA all the way till it ain't no more entertaining

your example is very situational.. Billups and Deron do not the norm make.. we no longer live and die by Tracy or Alston.. our team this year does not possess the limited make-up of our previous years.. it is an invalid argument..

I was at the game and TMac needs to rest, it is sad to see how limited he is now because of his knee. Ron was off and to me it seems his ankle was the issue tonight, he had no lift.

Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Barry is horrible, Landry looked lost, TMac is barely moving, the team's defense stunk, the offense stunk. They can't even make lay ups. Artest gets an A for effort, especially after an ankle sprain, but see below. The good news, Brooks still looks good, Rafer was O.K., Scola was fair. The team still doesn't know what they are doing. They are so far away from being really good it isn't funny. This team just takes nights off, not a good sign. No movement, little effort, Ugly.
