dude its not just like that, you see that game? obiously that game has no leadership froms the rockets.., they play like little kids turnover from this turnover from that.., look at the mavs they can go to their main man everytime when they like it and taking shot or drawing some double teams to make open shot from his team mates..,

the rockets play so bad.., no leadership no hustle no at all

thanks for the effort of landry!!

but the point is mcgrady when he is in the court he can motivate his teamates. drawing some double teams to make open shots from his teamates or make a hard drive from the basket to fish some fouls. look at the first quarter when they are down they look like its the end of the game.. look at the faces only landry head is in the game..,

also scola had a good game but damn his defence sucks. he had no defence at all . and also his making some turnover. they play like they are not proffesionals in the game they play like they are not playing together from the past years.
tmac wanna play but gm and coach doesn't want him to play? coz they know that tmac can be a problem to the chemistry of the rockets so far but know in the game i can't see that chemistry they talk about it.
now they loose huge and lack of leadership and motivation, i think now they are forcing tmac to play
my suggestion? dont play tmac hahahaha
now where are the tmac hater's?

    don't blame me about this

this is just my reaction to the game and a comment!

    peace all!

Didn't see the entire game but wondered how many points did the Mavs get off of Houston's missed shots/in transition?

Just offering a different perspective, if we have a more consistent offense it does help our defense and vice-versa. It could be from the opposing team having to take the ball out more often which allows us to set up our defense. Not sure what T-Mac can offer on the defensive end right now but having a more productive offense would offset some of the transition points that occurred tonight. When this team has been more efficient on the offensive end it has helped us on the defensive end.

When is the team's next practice, they may need to regroup? If Parker plays, I don't see us beating the Spurs. Not the way we are playing right now.

17 point lead + 31 point loss = 48 points. So the Mavs scored 48 more points than we did in 24 minutes.

    ARE YOU SERIOUS?

We really have no answer for big teams that get on a roll. All those blocks. Dirk shot over everybody we put on him. Thomas had a field day. Big teams must salivate thinking about playing us. And Terry? Might as well call him a god against us.

What is going on with our point guards? Can teams really get inside Aaron's head so easily? He has the tools, but I saw none of it last night. And although I never minded Lowry's drives, last night they looked foolish. This type of play from them makes Chris Paul so inviting.

    What else? Let's see...

Free throws guys! (I know, would not have made a difference, but jhc, they're free)

For now on I vote that once we get a offensive rebound, we kick that **** out and start again. We're entirely too short to battle with the bigs of the world. These multi-blocks must be inspiring for them.

    /rant

Now that I got that off my chest...

It's nights like last night that helps me to remember that we're playing without Yao and Tracy. It doesn't make me any happier about the game, but I can forget it easier.

    Just watched the team interviews.

    Scola sounded soooo sad.

    Aaron looked guilty.

    Battier talked like a coach.

I just wished somebody got mad...even in the game.

    1. I was not talking at all about Tmac, I was talking about the Mavs.

    2. Yes an all star would be nice, we don't have any of them available right now so let's develop one.

    3. Grow up - this was one game where the other team shot well, BFD, it happens, guess what, it will happen with the Rockets too.

    SHEESH !

    Get over that sheesh.

    3. Lol. Is that your reaction? What does it have to do with growing up. More like growing pains.
Mavericks do have our numbers. We know that. They consistently shoot well against us, esp. the Jet. I don't need to go further.
Teams that know how to beat us, will shoot well and beat us. We are too easy to read.

As of now, we need veterans who are talented.

No we do not, we need to go with what we have and develop for the future, this year is not a contending year it is a developmental year.

    Sheesh !

no excuses man, mavs simply outhustled, outexecuted, out-just-about-everything-they-wanted-to-do-to-us .... plus we had more free throws than they did, don't make any excuses dude.

I HATE LOSING especially in blowouts like this

pathetic performance, seriously anyone else feel this glummy after every Rockets loss? I haven't felt this bad about a season since the 06 season.

Right. T-Mac is capable of being a good player and a great offensive threat if he's all better, but he is just not a leader of men in the way that elite stars like Lebron and Wade are, or heck even in ways that Battier is.
And as others have said, we have a defensive problem much more than an offensive problem, and having McGrady isn't going to change that in one way or another.

Just one of those games that happen in an 82 game season. It happens to the best of them. Having said that, this game shows how important Yao is to the Rockets defense. He may not be a shotblocker statistics wise but his presence in the paint had discouraged countless intrusions.

The game tonight painfully exposed the Rockets' lack of interior defense, and in turn due mainly to the absence of an anchor in the middle. Trade Yao? You go figure.
