They are a good team... I expected them to lose tonight. We have major mismatch at center position.

I am not saying starters are great defensive players because they are not. They suck! But still they try to do what they can do to keep us in the game. Bench, courtesy of Brooks, does nothing. NOTHING NOTHING. We gave up 30 points at start but still were in the game. As soon Bench came, we fell behind 20 points... this is not first this has happened. Our Bench is too deep to do all this. I guess the problem is somebody is not helping bench players give their best.

They have not committed to defense all season.

Last season they played hard every single night, not this year....they are lazy.

And KMart was awful tonight 18 points on 18 shots.....

I really really want a roster shake up.

Time for ScribboErgoSum to start a Draft Pick Magic number thread.

We will 5 games outside the playoffs and 3.5 games away from #7 pick in the draft! I hate to admit it, I have always been against tanking, but this time it is starting to look tempting. Trade Jeffries, Shane and Scola for young assets, and go for a high draft pick.

Tracy had his way of not getting traded and Brooks has his.

Please please please don't pick on Martin. He had horrible game, but on normal basis he performs. 18 points on 18 shots is still not that bad. 4 points on 11 shots by Brooks, who is supposed to be "our" guy in big games had even more awful game... but that's not a surprise... happens often.

Last 4 games: 30 points on 44 shots. 22% shooting from the field. When putting the ball in the basket is your one great skill, need to do a little better than that.

He has stunk, no argument from me, but he is not the only one......and the defense quitting every single game....is pissing me off.

Jared Sullinger might be the most underrated guy in the draft, dude is having a heck of a college season and would be great on the Rockets but plays PF.

Enes Kanter and Terrence Jones are other possiblities at the 7 spot, after that a lot of question marks and euro projects.

Edit - I won't go much higher because the Rox won't be THAT bad to get the Perry Jones or Kylie Irvings unless they win the lottery as a long shot.

He's stinking the worst, and he's supposed to be one of our best players. Time for him to step up. He's playing against backups, after all.

Glad I didn't watch this game live. I DVR'd it and after 5 minutes of the 1st quarter, I said to myself "this is gonna get ugly. Fast forwaded to the 3rd quarter and then turned it off. Wish I could fast forward thru the whole season.

True, and Rick Adelman is using him wrong....they keep setting screens when they need to let him go one on one.....it is bizzare.

Either way, he should pick it up, and so should the rest of the team..

I am not going to blame one guy....when the entire team has given up the ghost on defense.

I know T-mac has closure now that Rockets can't even make the playoffs without him.

If it takes starting him to get him going again, then I say start him. I don't care how it happens, but for his sake and the team's he needs to figure it out soon. He's supposed to be playing for a contract, and yet he looks like he's just going through the motions.

This is really a dilemma. Brooks always plays good alongside Lowry as a SG. But can we afford to leave Martin on the bench, while he is a much more efficient scorer?
