Umm, Scola may not dunk or anything but he finishes at the rim just as much if not more then Landry. That freaking under curl of a layup he always seems to do inside the paint?????

Regardless of the finish, a oint is a point and on top of that note, its more common for Scola to have consistent days then Landry. Ive seen more up and down games from Landry then Scola basically.

Landry takes it hard at the rim. True, Scola can finish around the rim but even still Landry got to the point where he was either going to dunk or get fouled.

All I was saying is, if it's Scola vs Landry you gotta be crazy not taking Landry. We will never know if that offer was even on the table, though apparently it was for Stoudemire.

Also, Landry could have been wrapped up for the long term but Morey let him go get an offer sheet. I am going to guess that Landry's agent was pursuing something much like Ariza got, about 6.6 million per over 5 years. He will most certainly fetch more than that next season, probably around 7.5 to even 9 per. The Rockets could have had him locked up as a huge bargain.

Interesting that Morey offered that contract up to Ariza. Even more interesting that he gets dealt at the deadline. We will never know what truly goes on behind the scenes, but I would be willing to bet that Landry's agent has been pushing Morey for a much bigger contract next season and Morey in turn traded him rather than get nothing from him.
