I give you that on Scola. But Scola wasn't out on the floor for as many minutes as AB. Can't blame a guy who isn't given playing time, suck as he may during the time he IS on court. Martin wasn't hitting his shots early, so that hurt us too.

    But.

We were making a comeback in the 4th quarter, while Martin was HOT but Brooks decided to make some foolhardy shots and make some terrible passes.

    I'll amend my previous statement.

This loss is MOSTLY on Brooks.

Scola does not look like he is still part of the team after the trade deadline. We didn't trade him---I'm pretty sure of this---but......where IS he?

If he's mentally checked out, fine. I do hope we get something for him if he wants to be elsewhere.

This must be our way of keeping his statistics down with Landry gone so we can sign him for cheaper :p

Seriously though, match-ups were horrible for him. Hayes too, apparently. Only 9 freakin' minutes? I thought he was strong. Dwight Howard. 11/11 from the floor? Daaaamn.

I think JJ is going to be in the rotation next year if he isn't traded and will probably be resigned for cheap. The guy is a perfect bottom of the rotation guy who can play 4 positions and be serviceable offensively in Adelmans system where he can get some easy points. After watching Armstrong, I'm not surprised he played for 3 teams in one year, no focus, effort and missed rotations.

This was not his game to play.. with Anderson and Lewis out there he would have been demolished.. He just cant get out on the shooters.. Look for him to play alot more against the Spurs..

lowry has always been the better passer, AB makes poor decisions sometimes on passing, not just to martin but also the other guys.

don't give up on AB though, maybe he just needs to go to a personal trainer like martin does and improve his passing out of the lane and out of a double team

like landry, brooks may have hit his ceiling already this year, but he carried us in many games, so don't turn on him now

just give them time to gel, brooks is a sweet guy, don't impute motives to him

Did you watch the Pacers game? He had 25 and 11, with 4 assists to boot.

Adelman only played him 23 minutes against the Hornets, but he had 12 and 11 anyways.

And tonight... well, Scola's not really the best choice to guard a 4 like Rashard Lewis. He was having an off night anyways, and Adelman wanted to play mad scientist with the rotations. So be it, doesn't mean the guy's "mentally checked out."

    This thread? Tonight? Really?

JJ wasn't that bad... not nearly bad enough to warrant this knee-jerk thread.

it seems like a few of them have "checked out" since the trade. i hope that's not the case but it sure seems like something is going on.

when ab is not scoring, he's almost useless and harmful.

    this game proves it again.

    i am worried.

    CBud--still on.
    Scola--asleep.
    Ariza--injured, but still on.
    Lowry--injured, but still on.
AB--doing a good impression of being on, but mentally checked out.
Battier--still on, despite his weak defensive performance.
    Hayes--always on.

AB refused to give Kevin or Bud the ball.. He doesn't realize who is hot and when to give them the ball.. I think he did it once when he gave Bud the ball for a 3.. When Kevin was going off and getting all those fouls and buckets AB continued to run the PnR away from him in the 4th.. Lowry would have thrown the play book out and just kept feeding Kevin and crashed the offensive board. When Lowry comes back I think Kevin will be more comfortable..
