I saw some improvements in the second half. Better energy and focus. Andersen hit some shots and did a good job drawing Howard out. Interesting that Adelman decided to start Andersen in the second half. Martin's still missing open jump shots, and he settled for too many of them in the first half. Did better when he became more aggressive driving to the basket and looking for fouls. The entire team did better when they played with aggressiveness in the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth. Hopefully, they can build on that in the next game.
I am a Scolanite so this will be bias but sometimes Adelman's use of the Argentine dream makes me VERYYYY annoyed.
not so sure why everyone is so upset at the loss. Orlando is the number 2 seed in the east for a reason.
Send Jeffries back to NY. How many of you thought it was good that Hayes lost minutes to Jeffries tonight? Unfortunately, I think he is Adelman's Ryan Bowen, a player that JVG loved but had no skills but the chicken dance. If Adelman is going to destroy this team, I want to watch Armstrong and Hill develop instead of Jeffries play.
Well, we got beat by a better squad. Can't do anything about that. 1. There was absolutely no answer for Dwight. The dude was a monster on the inside. Without Yao, we just can't guard the bigs. 2. The inside-out game for Magic really did us in. When we decided to double on Dwight, Carter, Lewis, and Nelson stepped up on the outside shooting. The only 2 players that can create shots for us are Brooks and Martin. 3. By the way, speaking of Martin, we really need to get him more involved in our offense. It's ridiculous how much shots Brooks jacked up. 4. We gotta stop the sloppy turn overs. Those hail mary passes were killing us. 5. Budinger played in a solid game, I thought. I love this guy.
Without Yao to clean up his mess, Scola is utterely useless on the defensive end. Sad to say this but we really need to let him go in the offseason or trade him. He is gradually starting to decline and hope Morey slaps himself for not pulling that Amare trade.
i think martin would get more comfortable and in turn start scoring more consistently if RA would start him from here on out.
I don't really think Jeffries is significantly worse than Chuck, if at all. I kind of like him, to tell the truth.
I honestly thought Jeffries played okay tonight. He's not a defensive specialist like Hayes but he brings more offense to the table. I think we should give him more time to gel with the team.
Why do people act like we said "We want JJ in this trade or we walk." He was thrown in there because we "had" to take on his contract to get draft picks and Hill and such.
