The team right now is a work in progress. It may be unpleasant to watch while they work out the kinks, but if you're so short-sighted that you think we're a terrible team, then don't watch at all.

Horrible loss. I like what I see from Martin though. I expect his shot to start falling one day. I like his ability to get a shot...exactly what we needed.

    Lotto this yr it seems....

Brooks has horrible passing skills. And his PG IQ seems low when in the fourth quarter down by almost single digits you shoot a three.....I miss Lowry so much.

AB's 24-6-8 statline so misleading. Made shots here and there, but made more mistakes running the offense with several turnovers off of ill-advised dribbles and terrible passes.

Martin looked shy on the offensive end early, and started out horrible but picked it up late in the 3rd looking hot. He definitely still has his shooting touch, just needs to get to the line to get him started. Crossover he had on Barnes was sick.

    This loss is on AB.

i think we may have a situation with kevin martin and brooks.

who is THE MAN for our offense?

    brooks or kevin martin?

brooks took 22 shots while martin took 14 and it seems martin thrives when he has the ball in his hands making plays on the perimeter but brooks likes to dominate the ball.

when martin was coming of screens and tying to score off ball he was struggling but towards the end when he ball was just in his hands and he looked for his own shot by making plays he seemed more comfortable in getting to the rack and drawing fouls.

gonnabe interesting to see how adelman makes those two mesh together.

    Scola

Hate to say that I was unable to watch the game, but looking at the box score and seeing scola's line hurt. Could someone tell me what happened to him. Did he get injured or what?

Bad matchup, he can not guard 3pt shooters, and Orlando has Rashard at the PF spot shooting 3s...this is Scola's nightmare matchup.

We're the 12th worst team right now. I say we stay around there and try to get Donatas Motiejunas or Patrick Patterson in the draft.

I doubt we could even get 8th seed so where's the sense in starting the next season with the 14th pick when we can start it with the 12th pick?

Why would I not watch ... that's what fans do. Fans also give their impressions. The Rockets right now are a terrible team. You can euphemistically call it a work in progress if you want.

there was once when undefended jefferis waited just below the opponent hoop, and AB looked at him for like 3 seconds to decide that he should pass the ball... a easy layup.

Which is exactly why Aaron needs to go to the bench next season.

This season, we need all the scoring we can possibly get on the floor at the same time, so Aaron can stay the starter, but when we get Yao back, and if we can get Bosh, then it's time to send Brooks to the bench.

Nothing against Brooks, I've been an advocate of starting him ever since we got rid of Rafer, but we desperately need more guys that can score off the bench, and if I had to choose between Martin or Brooks starting, it's a pretty easy choice.

so what's the deal with brooks and martin? i noticed bullard mentioned something about them not gelling on the court. does brooks have some issues with sharing the scoring with kevin martin? if so then that's a whole other set of problems this team is going to have to deal with.

Sorry, but no, this is just ignorant scapegoating.

We were in this game till Adelman decided to go with the Temple-Martin-Budinger-Jeffries-Andersen for whatever reason. We got down quick by double digits and it wasnt.

Brooks gave up the ball and was running the normal offense and we couldnt even get a shot off, it was turnover after turnover. Brooks was forced to dominate the ball because no one else could create.

Scola was a complete no show and no one could stop Howard. Not to mention our defensive rotations were completely out of whack, with multiple people rotating to open shooters leaving guys wide open under the basket for dunks. Thats a chemistry/experience problem.

Tonights loss was on us being not as good and not as healthy.
