Great game by Lowry. 20 pts 12 asts 7 rebs 1 block. 3 rebounds away from a triple double. There were too many minutes for Scola. He was 2 minutes short of playing a 40 minute game. He shouldn't have been playing C. Sammy and Hill should have gotten more time.
Kmart wasn't just "off." Hated his body language. We may have to trade him if this continues. Bud just sucked.
Having a new coach doesn't help much either. I didn't think they played that bad. They need work on defensive rotations. They will get better with more practices. The only that made me really crinch was Bud's defense. Terrible.
K Low with a superstar performance. Sure we may have lost this game, but my goodness K Low is exploding.
t-will finished 5-12 with two end of quarter heaves - still needs to work on shot selection but that's not as bad as people are making out. no turnovers, but still some infuriating play. I'm still a huge fan
Let's be real we prob weren't going to win anyways, I predicted 103-91 close enough. Bud needs to get aggressive he plays the same way he did as a rookie. We need pat back to take from Scola some, Dalembert looked extremely solid, I don't think I could take another year of watching Hayes as the center of our d.
Didn't care for the defensive effort at all. Some really lazy rotations on the perimeter. Tough to win when Martin goes 1-10. I will say that I wish they would have run him off more screens as opposed to just having him stand around the three point line. I felt like the offense was a lot more dependent on dribble penetration and post ups than some of the motion stuff we've seen the last couple of years.
Our coach sucks. I think we've been spoiled with greats such as Rudy, JVG and Rick. Now we have McHale and the last 20 years or so of good coaching are officially over.
rockets played like ass and magic played like the 2009 magic...it's fine, let's see if martin gets out of his funk
Hedo was just having one of those games. He made some ridiculous fade aways and well-guarded 3s. As for JJ, lol Martin.
Since that was directed at my comment I'll respond as well.... Scola was simply Scola in this game. He was in the right spots, he made good decisions...wasn't his best game but he was getting the damn job done tonight. Martin, on the other hand, I don't know. He was just off on so many plays...I'm not ready to call him out on being sour over the "trade" but he sure didn't keep his feelings to himself in the press about it. You gotta at least wonder, is it affecting his play?
This team is built to run's Adleman's offense. They played nothing but isolation basketball out there, I put this loss on Morey and Mchale, Without a dominant superstar you have to run a motion offense that's why Adleman was the perfect coach for this team
