Not sure how to post this as a quote, but has anyone else seen the quote Aaron had in the chronicle highlight article. I hope he doesn't end up with a fine. He pretty called out Howard for falling on him. Maybe it's time to ask Santa and his crew for a healthy Yao when we play them again.
oh and their announcers were terrible. absolutely terrible. i muted and fast forwarded everything i could, and still when they got a word in here and there, it was always just awful.
I didnt see much of the game. Looked like the whole team was out of sync to a better team off a back to back at THEIR place. And it shows the importance of Yao Ming against a team like the Magic. Say what you want about Dwight Howard's offense. 20 boards by 1 player will hurt you.
the problem is adelman was too slow in reacting and adjusting, like last time we against clippers, davis use his big ass to push and continuous score while guarded by skinny brooks,at that time why not use lowry to fight against davis. adelman is a very excellent coach to exploit the full potential of the players, but at the same time we need to admit he is slow in reacting when situation changed rapidly on the court.

That was a disappointing game, but not really unexpected on the road in Orlando. At least a handful of other Contenders lost as well, and we're still just a game behind Phoenix for the #4 spot. Also, I had missed that we clinched a tie break over GolXen State. Hence their 2 point drop. Of course, if we need to bust out a tie break with the Warriors, we are in a whole heap of trouble.
For everyone that is complaining... who honestly thought we could beat the Magic without excellent play? We didn't play superbly tonight, therefore we lose. Tough game, but it's the second of a back-to-back.
Hmmm, kinda scary how close seeds 5-8 are. You go through a rough patch and you could be out of the playoff picture.
Dwight Howard is a big problem obviously. We need someone who can keep him out of the paint - landry and scola - god bless their souls - aren't going to be able to do it. No one can probably but he was just too much tonight. I hope David Andersen learns from this experience.
Thanks, enjored your information, clearly this team is exactly what people have suggested, will win games against bad teams and will struggle against good teams.
Where do you draw that line between good and bad though? Are you saying that LA is good and everyone below Denver is bad?? Is that line different for each team? What is a bad team? Is it any team currently below the Rockets in the standings or is it just the teams who havent reached the 10 win plateau?? Struggle against good teams is a funny way of putting it. Do you mean struggle during the game or struggle to win. Because only Dallas and now Orlando has had a game where they did NOT struggle against us.
Errr, It's hard draw a line between good and bad, team records are not the only factor here, schedules and how many games will it have to play against those elite teams also counts, so it's just a general saying But since we do not have the tie breaker against all the teams above us including spurs, and have the tie breaker against all the teams below us, i think it is safe to we do struggle to win games against good teams.
Well, can you explain why Landry and Lowry sat while the Rockets went scoreless for 6:00 in the 3rd? I know Landry had 3 fouls but the game was slipping out of reach and Adelman stuck with the starters. I like him well enough but that was a huge mistake.
